  1. Without much dedication, a system like that would be bound to fail.. Mainly because of what Ransom stated and because of the rising of 1-hour gangs made by people that felt all pumped up about the idea..
  2. That is a plausible suggestion Warrior... Perhaps as money will now play a role in VC DM in the next version, hopefully the team will implement turismo like it in GTA3.. They haven't commented on this, but I believe it's something that might happen.

I usually post in this thread once every 5 months to suggest some things that could be done in this current core, I just don't mention them that much because I know the the team is working on gameplay, stability and of course, the next core. Firstly, for both GTA3 and Vice City, I'd suggest that you change the way the cars explode to be like in single player. What I mean with this is that in MTA, when the car catches the "nearing explosion" fire, it simply takes some seconds to blow up, independentaly if it is shot or no, while in single player, when those flames start, if you keep shooting it blows up faster. Us GTA3 veterans should easily remember how hard it was to cruise around the mafia area after killing Salvatore... Almost impossible to not die inside a car, because it blows up when it's hp ends, instead of always taking 3-5 seconds for it to explode like in MTA. Secondly, I know modding is something that your trying to make possible for the next core, but regarding the current one, hopefully right in the next version, would it be possible to allow admins to at least configure the weapon.dat to their preferences (in this case, if it requires modifying the MTA files, then never mind this suggestion), providing links to the file or sending directly to the players, to allow them to play? The file is not that large, and it's not like people would be downloading it all the time..

    Weird GTA3 Bug..

    Nothing much to say.... The driving position got "$(/#$ed.. It was after the ammunation-respawn bug hapened (I got killed while entering the ammunation screen).

    Indeed it is hard to arrange a concensus... Personally, I don't see a problem with the jumping with the stubby.I mean, it does lag a little but it is NOT DIFFICULT to hit the jumpers, specially with a fast gun over a distance..Just disabling the crouching and weapon change after shooting is needed, there's no fun in having a 5% hit percentage on those crappy "fast-paced" fights.. Regarding the SPAS, it seems most of the people who complained about it were the same that complained about car killing or chopper killing (not making accusations here)... I mean, an automatic shotgun like the SPAS IS MEANT to be deadly... In my opinion, to balance it, all that would make it fair would be not allowing jumping or crouching or weapon changing after or while shooting. That way the players would have to develop strategy and think twice before using them. Also, it's not much of an advantage with the crashing.. I remember when I used the SPAS, it was rare when I didn't crash before actually shooting with it.. About the Mexican, yes he needs what has already been suggested.. Around 300 ammo and giving him the molotovs back... Most complained about the stubby because the fast-firing weapons were weakened. I'd say give the Mexican those weapons back. To make it more even, put the grenades and molotovs as they were in 0.4.1, just don't allow the jumping or crouching or weapon switching during the animations. Just the animation time needs to be as it is in single player.. A reference I'd like to make is that I believe the developers thought that we wanted them to sync the animations with the glitches, instead of fixing the glitches... For example, instead of removing the molotov and grenade glitch, they just synced the animations that everyone sees, to stop the glitch from being considered a "glitch" (hope you understood that).... I believe that with the posts in this thread from the gang leaders that have been around for more than a year now, the MTA team might understand what we meant...
  6. Well, the stubby does have it's lameness in 0.4.1 (doesn't mean I don't know how to use it.. )... The best strategy on a stubbier is a long range weapon or ironicaly, another stubby

    OMGZLOLOL!!!!1111!!! Well Eagle, that is the code used.. But of course that's just a copy straight out of the .scm, you will need the code to get out of it and the code to check if a key is pressed before you are put in the car... And it also depends if your changing the .scm or your using spookie's DirectX hook/SCM hook...
