You dont have to use a modchip to ftp games from your xbox to your pc. Softmodding also allows ftp'ing and doesnt require any extra parts. Also if i remember correctly, a mod chip isnt illegal. Selling an xbox that has a mod chip with games on the hdd on the other hand is illegal

If cheating is the only way you can be interested in a game stick to single player games since cheating in an online game ruins the experience for others.

Laggy one problem, the image of slush hanging onto the barn has obviously been reversed which makes the whole thing look bad

Actually it was implemented to prevent the annoying "pause to prevent someone from killing you" exploit people loved to use in MTA:VC. That is also why you cant get to the SA options menu when you hit ESC, instead it takes you to MTAs own menu

The MTA team prevented you from minimizing the game for a reason. If you do minimize it and have problems dont expect support from these forums

Start a server and set it to just run the Freeroam map. I wouldnt know if its like GTAT since i havent played it.

You need to use the original exe in order to patch your SA copy. If you downloaded the game dont look for help here as warez'd versions arent supported. EDIT: Dont make a new thread about something you have already posted in another topic

You can play both MTA:VC and MTA:SA on a LAN. For MTA:VC do what Jani said, open mta.ini and change the line "DontGetLatest=0" to 1. For MTA:SA you need to disable the anti cheat updater in the server config if you dont have an active internet connection.

Are you spawning at a crusader? If so thats why you are getting disconnected for trainer usage. There was a bug with the crusader where the armor wouldnt be removed when you died. So if you spawned as a crusader again you would have 200 armor, which would be seen as a cheat by the anti cheat protection.

You pc running HL2 at normal GFX doesnt mean anything. Increasing the pool limit isnt a very good idea for those with pcs that barely meet the requirments and could push them away from MTA

ANY online game would suck with auto-aim..thats why they dont have them. Killing someone with auto-aim only proves one think, you cant play the game without assistance from some lame feature that is basically an aim bot

There would be no battle with auto-aim..all you do is lock on and fire. That takes no skill what-so-ever
