Don't post misleading and totally inaccurate replies please Lara. Daemonicus, MTA is most certainly playable on dialup, I did so myself for a number of months whilst waiting for broadband. The key is to stick to smaller servers, no more than 12 people max for instance. Of course you will have to do a lot of aiming ahead and accounting for your lag when fighting as will the people fighting you.

Shouldnt need any extra scripting as long as the format fits into the script as it stands. Nice ideas rebel, I personally like numbers, my old CS clan used them, [xenogen]1 [xenogen]2 etc, but id bet lots of people wont like not being able to use thier names. Tho technically its the other way around, he can shoot u thru it, you cant shoot him unless you walk around it. Not an easy thing to do when it isnt there for you

You could always use the replay tool thats available (google for it), allows you to save multiple replays. I believe it saves each with a different name.

Not sure the point of this, perhaps you could elaborate, buy how, what advantages do you get by owning it, can people take it off you etc If its simply so you can say 'hey i own that house over there' then i dont really see the point

Anyway, to respond to a few of your suggestions, 'Add some more ramps especially on roof tops and the like. Currently it's possible to drive a very long way before a jump/stunt is possible.' The ramps are included as extras, many many stunts are possible all over the 'standard' map as can be seen in most stunt videos. You are almost always next to something you can stunt off. 'It might be nice to introduce a cash penalty for dying ' You already lose cash when you die. 'Have timed rounds for the different teams/players after which a winner is declared and the scores are reset. ' This would be a much more major change in the client than you would expect, it is however possibe to do this quite simply with mtama. As it can time the 'round' and reset the money afterwards. 'Spawn checkpoints across the two cities which can be touched by either team but are worth more points to the team. Some very low point ones should be a doddle to get, others should be extremely hard to get and worth more' Interesting idea, i presume you mean in a similar way to the few occasions in single player where you have a time limit to pas thru a number of scattered points. My one concern would be that once completed a few times it may get repetative. Random would be nice but introduces problems of its own, not least sync across clients. 'And finally, could the stunt-car racers please have some bikes. Like the skin .. hate the cars' Quite frankly, no. There are plenty of choices if you wish to use bikes, I think providing a few fast cars for people to use isnt unreasonable.

We shouldnt need scripts for the minigames, they are easy enough to organise manually. Really its the old team script style with some tweaks, no spam (!score and !time etc), ignores vehicle deaths, subtracts freindly fire kills from score, allows more than two teams at once, allows unbalanced teams.

Then perhaps a two day ban will get it through to you along with madmike.

If a mod tells you to stop doing something you stop doing it. Arguing with him, especially when its arguing itself he has requested you keep out of here, is a very stupid thing to do. Abuse of the gangs forum has gone on long enough. Steps are being taken to reduce it as the culprits are either too thick, too ignorant, or too blase' to stop.
