  1. You say you have DP2.2, which begs the question... why the hell? DP2.3 is the latest DP version (and more importantly, the latest officially released one...) meaning that installing that should be the first step. If it turns out that doesn't help, read the FAQ, it might prove helpful.
  2. Agreed: it doesn't help that 99% of the music on PBFM sucks monkey balls. If the radio should default to anything (which, IMO would be even better than GTA's default "random" stations) it should be off.

    Old Resources

No. There is a command that upgrades them, but it seems pretty sketchy, is unlikely to work, and even if you do convert them you won't benefit from any of the new features.
  4. On a side note, I noticed a DP2 bug where the radio is AAAAAAAAAAAAAALWAYS set to Playback FM when you enter a car... can't remember for sure whether or not it happens in the nightlies, but if it does, looking into it might be smart, especially if we're planning scripted radio control...
  5. Are you aware it's not allowed to mod handling.cfg in multiplayer? Unless everyone has it ofcourse. And does the carmod show correctly in Singleplayer? If it doesn't, go to the GTA forums. If it does, then R* seems to be sabotaging your PC... It's not really "not allowed", that's up to admins of individual servers to determine. It's still discouraged though, the more mods you cram into an installation, the more chance of something getting messed up.
  6. I had a similar problem, after I reinstalled GTA SA and MTA it worked.
  7. I also had a mouse problem (albeit in XP, not shitsta) that turned out to be due to my dual core. If you have a dual-/multicore processor, google imagecfg.exe, download it, use it to set core affinity for gta_sa.exe to one of the cores.
  8. So, I've had this problem pretty much ever since r272 (the first nightly I tried) and when I reported it, it was blamed on the packet bug... which was later fixed, but this problem still sticks around. It seems that random IDs (but always the same ones) have stopped working, even though they're technically valid. Or should be, it happened to a lot of different IDs from the skins.xml from the admin resource... I'm assuming invalid IDs wouldn't be in there.
  9. Looks like it's in order... what's the 44004, though?
  10. Even if they mess up horribly sometimes... most resources only have a couple of function names needing upgrades, though- it's really not all that difficult to do it manually.
  11. There's a chance something's different in your configuration... mind grabbing a screen from your router config? (Obviously, the port forwarding page. )
  12. 1.0 editor or Race editor?
  13. Nice idea stealing. Anyways... you'll want to cover either onPlayerSpawn or onPlayerJoin, as well as onPlayerChangeNick - how you get the player IDs is up to you, and the rest is basic lua.
  14. That name is probably only an identifier to remind you why you made the forwarding entry. You can put anything there, it doesn't matter.
  15. There's no name, look for an option to open individual ports. The one you need is of course the game port (which can be set in mtaserver.conf) and if you want it in the list, the ASE port (although this name is kind of a misnomer now) which is always the game port + 123. For some reason. The default game port is 22004, making the default ASE port 22127.
  16. Take a look at the other posts here, and you'll know what bad English is. As for your problem, more info would be nice. Which version do you use, do you have any patches, cracks or mods installed, do you run XP or Vista, have you tried updating graphics drivers, DirectX, any other drivers, do you have problems with other games, etc. etc. etc. In short: say anything you think might help.
  17. Learn English. Seriously. It's almost impossible to understand what you're trying to say, which sucks for both of us, since we can't help you.
  18. First step; write something people might actually have a faint chance of understanding... I THINK you mean the computer reboots itself? It's probably a heating issue or a BSOD. Does it happen when playing other games, or doing other stuff that puts a lot of load on your CPU, graphics card and memory? If not, take a look here: http://development.mtasa.com/index.php? ... sues_-_FAQ
  19. Got punctuation? =.=
  20. That uses the deathmatch layout, which the editor also does. Boo ya.
  21. I'd like signatures back. There are a few reasons, but mostly, it's a place to say something funny, post links to stuff you've made, stuff that can help people, pay some small homage to your clan, etc. etc. I'd like to see how many feel the same way. If you vote, please post as well, saying what you voted and why you voted for that.
  22. ... and I don't really see why it should... It would be like MS going back to Win98 to make DX10 support.
  23. Yeah, sounds like a terrific idea; he's really very good with the English language on the whole.
  24. Learn English. Please. It's impossible to know what you're trying to say.
