Graphically, no. (Although it is possible. I think. At least to a degree.) You can, however, manipulate the database with runcode ("live scripting") using the same functions you normally would.
-
You don't actually need a database at all - MTA stores and reads accounts from accounts.xml, you don't need to bother with any SQL for the accounts themselves.
-
I think it's MD5. MD5 hashing is exposed as a lua function, by the way. But you can also just make your login/registration system wrap around MTA's, in fact that would be better. Take a look at the addAccount and logIn functions.
-
Simple answer: yes, you can. Add an outputChatBox line to the command handler function for your command. You can look up its parameters on the wiki. The second is also perfectly possible; unfortunately, it's really difficult to say how, when you give no info at all about which scripts you're actually using.
-
Don't. You can't, it's simply not available. (Like it says.) You don't need it to play in servers either, there's no real reason to.
-
Just thought I should remind you that MTA 1.0.1 has been out for some time now. Scripting is easier and more powerful, and you can race in it too.
-
I think it's rather obvious that if someone here doesn't understand how "it" works, that would be you. You can't magically manipulate the server to send you its scripts. (Where'd you even get that idea? What makes you think it's that simple?) You can't turn the client-side scripts into completely different server-side scripts because client- and server-side scripts do different things in different ways and in fact, aren't even necessarily related. The files you mentioned are ONLY client-side script files, and they are at best only part of the actual script at work - server scripts are called just that for a reason: they are server scripts, they get executed on the server, they stay on the server and there's little you can do to change that fact unless you have access to the server's file structure. Think about it this way: if the files in your folder were just a mirror image of the server files, why would you need to download them in the first place?
-
No, you can't magically create server scripts from a server, from their client-side counterparts. Write your own scripts.
-
Maybe we could implement Photoshop too.

Don't you mean that he could be disconnecting from the router? Anyways, you do have a point. The problem is most likely due to instability in either the WLAN or the DSL connection, and WLAN has never had a reputation for being a gamer's first choice.

First of all, please don't double-post (aka. spam) after an hour, as this forum simply doesn't move that quickly, and it makes you look like a world-class whiner. There are three criteria for GM listing: - Must have in mtaserver.conf set to 1. - Must have ASE port accessible from WAN/Internet. (Port forwarded, not blocked by firewalls, etc.) For the record; the ASE port is the game port + 123. - Must have been online for quite some time. Game-Monitor is infernally slow, and you may have to wait for 1-24 hours (or even longer, in extreme cases) before it finally picks you up. Port forwarding is not something we can help you with here unless you give more information (what freaking model it is, for example,) and we shouldn't really have to. Just consult your router manual, look at its admin panel for yourself, google, etc.

Um, I wouldn't say that. He is willing to pay, if its worth time, i guess you should do it. I would glady do it, but I'm a little busy on my housing system. Anyways, I think I can do good enough good. Ill do it. Also, I like Race the most So what you're saying is, you'd totally do it if you weren't already busy on another project? Gee, that sounds familiar...
-
Why don't you try to fix it, instead of trying to start arguments. you know, make yourself usefull. Like yourself, I suppose?
-
Erm.. How about checking the files it told you to check? Then google the error message(s) you find in there. We can't help you with them, as we're not Microsoft.
-
MTA doesn't have any functions that deal with native SA objects, and neither, apparently, has the game itself. Use interiors or map above the existing game world.
-
That'd be difficult. However, you can always use interiors and dimensions instead, or you can map your stuff above the existing map.
-
Oh man. Words can hurt, you know. Seriously. I'm just trying to keep yourself from wasting a lot of time. Finding a competent scripter here who's not already busy with some project is unlikely. Finding a competent scripter who's not already busy AND who wants to help make yet another crappy RPG server is closer to a dream. On another note, you should probably resist the temptation to call other people "a little slow" while you're still typing like a retarded chimp on LSD. Your problem here would likely be that you wouldn't be getting a "steady amount" in the first place, unless you brought them with you, like vG did. Dragon's point is a lot better than you appear to think. When people want to play, they want to play, not register on an external website first. Also, saying that RPG is what makes MTA worth playing is just dumb, since there are more people than you here, and some have been playing Race, Deathmatch, etc. for years.

No, no, the short answer was "forget it." ;D

The first thing you should do is upgrade to 1.0.1, as DP2 is obsolete and old. http://www.gtagames.nl/mirror/mtasa/MTASA-1.0.1.exe
-
And that someone had better be you, seeing as you apparently overestimate the chance of someone here bothering to help an ungrateful son of a bitch like you, who isn't even interested in trying, but is just whining, waiting to get it served on a silver platter. Newsflash; this is the MTA forum, not a forum for your personal servants. Learn some fucking Lua, and go away. Oh, and have a great day.
-
Nothing new in the question, (seriously, there are tons of this kind of topic popping up all the time in here,) nothing new in the answers people provide: No. Learn scripting for yourself.
-
Sorry if this has been asked/answered before, but is this completely compatible with the existing scoreboard? IE; if I rename the default scoreboard and put this one in its place with the same name, will it work?
-
How about "you're fucked, then."

It's most likely the regular, standard freeroam mode - comes with the server. Stop the current mode and start the freeroam resource.
