load them in the editor?
-
try another server and check if its same to them, many people have problems with fps drops, crashes and freezes on valhalla due to their really advanced and big scripts
-
if the issue is the same in singleplayer I'd recommend reinstalling gta
-
according to the official thread you need to start rcg manually by typing "/start rcg" in the chat while logged in as an admin or just "start rcg" in the mta server console

[Not Resolved] Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 SP1 - Problem
Dark Dragon replied to LaShoN's question in Client
I'm sure we (or someone else) will find a solution! I'm really sorry for the trouble you're having and hope for your patience and will to play MTA! While waiting it could also help to search for a solution from microsoft, according to the first post there is an error ID outputted so you will probably find something at their FAQs or their forums. I have not much time to read at the moment but I found this right here: http://blogs.msdn.com/heaths/archive/20 ... cache.aspx This seems to be a solution for the error 2203! -
yes, just search for the function which opens the gui, it should work when you call this function with a command handler and edit the parameter to fit the syntax
-
someone sometime rebuilt all (?) interiors and made them into maps, I didn't do that but I am one of the people who still have those files and can offer it to you! It contains the maps as RACE MAPS as well as 1.0 RESOURCES. have fun with it, happy editing: http://www.ragtag-dragon.bplaced.net/st ... eriors.zip (note: you will probably have to edit the name to be able to open it in 1.0)
-
resources are basically part of code that can be running but must not necessarily. SA MP (as far as i know, it may have changed but i don't think so) only runs one big mess of code file at once, where everything that the server might want to do must be in. You can compare the resource system to the pcs folder system, it sorts things for the user to have easy access and also just gives the possibility to add new folders next to, or in other folders. It's also good for the server, he knows that all the resources exist but he does not care (much) about what they're containing until someone tries to start them (and run the code inside) A resource can be a gamemode, which mostly handles most of the abilities players have on a server a map which offers unique gameplay on modes even after playing them 1 million times or a script which adds features or possibilities, for example if someone gets shot in the head he dies instantly or if he presses button X something happens to him or someone else.
-
first: does the server console say anything about loading a resource failed? second: did you start the resource? third: type /debugscript 3 ingame and see if there are any errors appearing (and you should probably spawn the player, set the camera target and fade the camera as well..?)

[Outdated] Unofficial MTA Script Editor 0.3 (4851) RELEASED!
Dark Dragon replied to 50p's topic in Scripting
woot? it's out? yay ill test it edit: same crash but can't wait for it to work it looks cool! -
I guess I remember some people have solved that by using a working gtasa no dvd crack. Unfortunately I can't help you finding one, but if you're going to try, make sure to backup your old .exe.
-
100% agreed, great idea!
-
nice try pal!
-
are you using an image of the gta sa dvd? This sounds like an anti piracy message to me.
-
if you're playing on valhalla then it's normal (i don't know why but no one seems to have a constant frame rate there)
-
well now sa mp fanboys have 2 reasons less to stay at sa mp, they run out of reasons so they invent new ones which are even sillier

For the first days/weeks I'd like to hear your comments to the release, you can comment on anything that you like dislike or whatever. Post whatever you think might fit here, don't be afraid to post! I'm really happy to see 1.0.1 being released, many many things were improved during the time of the nightly builds and I love seeing others being happy while playing. There are some small bugs (stealth spectating change, assault sometimes not respawning players properly) which could have been fixed but who cares, will be fixed soon and those are only resource based bugs, so theres nothing you'd have to worry about!
-
I hope that this is not only temporarily, to be honest i expected a lot more people to be interested, but maybe they're coming over the days... not everyone is so addicted so he would get to know a release that fast.
-
well that would be easy to implement, but i guess that should be up to the server owner. I don't want to force people to use this addition. Your idea could become an own resource in my opinion! It's just something completely different.

did you try to reinstall mta?
-
did you try to delete the file mentioned in the faq?

I proudly present my new chatbubbles resource! What does it do? Chatbubbles adds messages sent via chat above the head of the player who has sent the message. Normal messages are visible to everyone, while teamchat is colored in the team color and is only visible to members of that team. /me messages are not displayed. Why should I get it? With the upcoming release of MTA 1.0 I hope that it will attract more people. With lots of people on a server the chat is used rapidly, and its sometimes hard to read messages that were addressed to you. Imagine a server with 80 people chatting to each other, you are currently cruising around with your mate and you want to tell him something. With the normal ingame chat he will probably not even notice that you've just written something to him because it will be out of the chat before he saw it, with chatbubbes you will always keep track of what your nearby friends are saying. It's also good for teamplay, you will find the one who said "cover me" or "follow me" much easier! How does it look ingame? http://img87.imageshack.us/img87/7043/g ... 202562.png for more see the resource in the community center How can I modify it? Chatbubbles currently features 4 settings in the meta.xml which can be changed there or in the admin panel. -DefaultTime: The time in milliseconds which every single bubble should be visible to clients -PerCharacterAddition: The time in milliseconds which every single letter in a message adds to the total time visible -MaxBubbles: This decides how many chatbubbles can be stacked above one's head, "false" disables this limit. -HideOwn: Should players be able to see their own bubbles? Where do I get it? https://community.multitheftauto.com/index.html?p=resources&s=details&id=383 https://community.multitheftauto.com/index.php?p= ... ls&id=7254 What do I write in this topic? Comments, suggestions, bugreports any everything else
