Nice updates. I viewed them earlier but generally; and overall, it never ceases to amaze me how much the MTA team packs into an already great game. Great work.
-
To me though, Slothman's answer is impressive as it is. Being able to choose CJ's clothes and choosing peds models give it a wide selection.
-
Reptile: you can't even do that in the real game, so too, it wouldn't be possible.
-
Yeah, I find that it's pretty tough to see the maps in the console too when several people are talking/dying at the same time. Having a button at the bottom of the console to lock/unlock the scrollbar to the bottom of the text would be a great idea.
-
The person ahead can always slow down and let the other player catch up. Problem solved. It doesn't sound like you're too concerned with finishing times so slowing down is the best solution.
-
Sorry, but personally, catch-up is dumb. It takes away the fun of being ahead, knowing that people are such a short distance behind no matter what.

My settings in good combination: P4 2.8GHz w/HT (Socket 478) 512x2 (1GB) Kingston PC3200 BFG 6800GT (AGP/256MB) Hyundai 17" LCD (L70N) Game settings: Screen resolution: 1024x768 System - AA: 8xS GTA:SA - AA: 3 AF: Disabled (both system and in-game) Widescreen: Enabled Summary: Very smooth gameplay with crisp edges.

I knew about that already and saw them before.

Firstly, I don't have the time or patience to search 500+ pages of queries. I ran a search earlier and several irrelevent threads came up. Anyways, thanks.
-
I already have, and each shot has markers of opponents. If you don't see one on that boat one, it's because the two players are so close together that the current player's arrow is layered overtop of the marker.
-
There should be a way to disable player flags on the map radar. This would be useful in enclosed maps (CS-style) so the player positions aren't given away when hunting each other down. Any thoughts?
-
No problem, just to make a long story short - like a few of us said, your videocard isn't capable of that resolution in this game.
-
I think Gamefreek mean't to say 3dmark05/3dmark06.
-
Again, it's not a bug. You know what happens when you pile a lot of cars in one area (ie. 32 cars spawning in the same area) - it slows down, due to the videocard trying to process all of them. Also, remember at higher resolutions, you will be receiving lower framerates; almost an exaggeration of a slowdown in the same area at a lower resolution. Anti-aliasing in busier areas/different parts of town/etc. will slow the speeds down too. If you don't mind me asking, what's your videocard (not like it matters, since anyone would notice a slight slowdown, even on todays cards on resolutions like that)?

eeezi: for the middle part, instead of adding a blue tone over top of the colors, you should make it monotone (grayscale) and put a color overlay on it.

Yes, MTA did a great job. However, people shouldn't keep comparing SA-MP to MTA:SA, both have different goals although they are a similar concept. I enjoy both MTA and SA:MP and don't dislike anything from either of them. Aren't I easy to please!

A: No. Q: Can I bring a gun? (I've re-iterated on rockstarrem's answer which wasn't correctly written..)
-
TBH, on my first ever computer (IBM 80086), my dad programmed a Hangman game which I became highly addicted to when I was around three.
-
The MTA team hasn't given any indication for a release date yet.
-
A: No deal. Q: Anyone remember that gameshow with Howie Mandel?
-
Kubrick: It's better that you leave the unnecessary comments to yourself. You're not forced to play this addon/mod so please don't whine. Thanks. KaptainW: as seen from the majority of other posts, beta-testing is done by the QA team only. Also, FYI, if they want you on their QA team, they'll ask you; don't ask.

The randomizing code could include: [ignores the map that you're currently playing] & [randomizes the rest of the maps] = preventing exact mirroring of the same map continuously. If it was done this way, it still may result like this: ie. 10 maps, and when randomized.. may result like: #3,#10,#3,#6,#10,#6 (still could be the same map after 2 random votes; but consequently better than two of the same maps side-by-side).

[Problem] Website: News
NazcaC2 replied to NazcaC2's topic in Site/Forum/Discord/Mantis/Wiki related
I know of the workarounds already. I was just letting the website developer know of that fault. -
While in the forum and if you press one of the News links at the right (in blue) - they bring up the 'The Page Cannot Be Found' error. If you're not in the forum and viewing the news already, the news links work.

Get a straight train track and copy n' paste about 20 time, tile those train tracks and bingo, you have a loop-de-loop. The hard part is if the train model could handle 20 track changes with-in a second. Another problem is if the train could handle such a stunt. When I say loop-de-loop - I mean an upside down track. Realistically, if you put the tracks together and if it connects, it will be in the shape of a polygon. The train will become derailed after one track is connected, due to the track not being rounded and because the track won't be perfectly connected.
