That could well be your problem, if they still contained modified files that the reinstall didnt overwrite.

Why wait for days or weeks and then spend time downloading a large video file when you could spend a few seconds downloading the mod and be trying it for yourself? I really don't see the logic.

As for it being a race mod and not 'on foot' (there are weapons, try the hunter for a start), if you hadn't had your head in the sand for the last 3 months you'd have been fully aware of its content. Go to profile and dig through the hundreds of different menus and submenus untill you find the avatar one. (On most forums its all in one page, I'm not sure why it is so overcomplicated on this one.) Once you find it you simply upload the image from your computer to this board by browsing for it in the box. Check the size of the pic though as I think there are limits. By the way, don't you think this would have been better in the Site-Forum related area?

I don't think All seeing eye scans local servers. In other words it wont show you your own. Get someone else to check if they can see it.

That is an idea. Perhaps you could remodel some of the water animals into mammals and change thier paths to some forestland? They would not have any collision though.

It should have come with a text or pdf file that contains instructions for installing and running it. I recommend you download 0.5 instead though, (it also comes with instructions although they are not quite as clear), I doubt anyone plays 0.4 anymore.

There would still be issues, the server would have to decide which player to take the ped information from for example. But it has been said by eAi (I think) that peds may well be possible in the future, perhaps something a modder could make with the sdk?

Me too. By the way I hope by 'they crashed' you mean in a vehicular sense not MTA crashing.

Or dozens of checkpoints scattered around that you have to pass through, but in any order you wish. That would stop most of the overcrowding - vehicles could start in a circle facing outwards perhaps - and would bring a bit of freedom into it too.

That doesn't explain or excuse people posting complaints about the length of development time required, nor complaining about previous versions. So I don't really understand the point you are trying to make there.

p.s. it's MTA:SA race mod thats near release. Blue is just the code name for the core its built upon

I can see some pretty major legal barriers to that happening unfortunately
