Mine would have to be Tornado, a great flight simulator that I bought cheaply with a free expansion pack (Gulf war!) to play on my sparkling new (well, second hand) 386 that my mother bought me for college, It featured a slab of a manual that could double as a foot stool, 25 billion keys to learn, (almost), great A.I, the skys were literally full of other air-traffic from passenger liners to other fighters and helicopter gunships. It had fully deformable terrain and fully demolishable (is there such a word) buildings, well ok.. fully demolishable coloured boxes. The expansion pack had this plus more road traffic and of course the 'historically accurate' Gulf War campaign. Pretty twisted considering the war hadn;t been over that long at the time. The graphics were great for the time, the plane 'felt' awesome, the replays were endless and interesting.. sometimes instead of studying I'd attatch the camera to a 747 and just watch it fly around. A week or so later someone gave me doom.. But that's another story.

I'm not suggesting they are newly discovered nor surprising in a mod of this nature. I'm suggesting giving everyone on here instructions how to glitch is a very bad idea. edit: your xfire petition is ironicaly funny. You realise MTA itself isnt xfire compatible right? (i.e. it crashes) hehehe

I guess it is down to your definition of dying then. To me dying means ceasing to exist, to you it evidently means getting smaller.
-
wouldn't you call that dying? There are less people playing MTA now then 2 years ago, when MTA was at its peak. No, I'd say its slimming down and getting fitter and leaner. A lot of the more senile, impatient, easily bored and constant complainers have wandered off, although not all unfortunately. Leaving the hard core, addicted, mature and patient. Thats great for the community. When the slums get pulled down and the criminals move to another town, reducing the population, does it mean the town is dying? n.b. There are still some senile people around, but they probably don't even realise where they are. More tea Vicar?

her? (haha)

Zzz I'm not sure announcing those afresh in such a public place (MTA-wise) is such a good idea.

san andreas is a big place, but where are all the people ??

Therefore it would be client controlled anyway, but with the extra step of the server asking 'is it ok to put one here' Kind of defeats the object of server-side don't you think? I'm not sure what you mean by that. Could you elaborate a little? -

It's pretty unlikely the server would create them. To do so it would need knowledge of the physical world of San Andreas (or vice city / gta3). Something it doesn't have. -
Might be better to post this in the help section. Or better still, search for your answer before posting it at all.

Who would judge this though, and how exactly? I mean you'd have to specify particular achievements and targets and allocate a score for each otherwise it would be a rather wishy-washy 'thats a good server'. Seems a little rigid. Maybe an offsite (i.e. not official) recommendation site where users can (automatically?) rate a server. A little like an ebay user gets a feedback rating depending on how many good or bad reports he recieves, giving an overall score for that server.

Alternatively you could simply edit the .scm to place whatever vehicles you wish. Although more technically demanding than downloading and running a trainer it's about the simplest thing you could do involving scm coding. (and much more satisfying).

They developed GTA3, VC and SA on PC's so hopefully the same goes for LCS, if this is the case then hopefully the original models should be reasonably high-poly and would have been reduced when ported to the psp. As for multiplayer I doubt it, they've not added anything as radical as that in previous ports back to PC (in fact they've removed things like the two player missions ) And Rockstar Norths CEO has been quoted stating multilayer wouldnt be considered until such time as the entire game could be designed around it, which lss clearly isn't. Fingers crossed for GTA4 however, it reportedly features an entirely new game engine so perhaps it's the holy grail itself and will be built for multiplayer.

He was part of DMA Designs (the team that made GTA), presumably also part of Rockstar North for the latter GTA's though I can't swear to that.

Only the more graphically obsessed will worry about the eye candy. If you don't appreciate the pure playability of all the GTA's then perhaps the latest Myst would be more suitable for you?
-
It would have far higher resolutions, anti-aliasing etc on PC. Unlike on the PSP, so it would be superior graphically (as all the other GTA's are on PC). So I don't see that being an issue.
-
Me too. Now all we have to do is wait for ps2 + 1 year to get it on PC! Also of interest was: and: Manhunt 2 perhaps?
-
Rockstar? erm no. Thats a development house not a game title.
-
Well it's only those few people you are blocking, i.e. those that use crusader, so I don't see the problem.
-
One of the original GTA team is developing a gta style mmolrpg. I read it in my monthly computer magazine. I'll check the specific details and re-post.

Well as far as I'm aware (confirmed by google for what that is worth) there is no such thing as a cracked Australian executable for VC. I mean what on earth would be the point?

B.L.A.S.T. V5!!! ALL NEW!! ALL GOOD!! ALL SPAM!!

A: We seek the Grail. Q: African or European? -
Erm, yes it can. An admin slap hurts a player to the tune of 20 H.P.
-
If he has a no-cd crack then he doesn't have an Australian executable anyway...
