Odd, are there any error messages? All three should have worked, especially the wireless driver. Does this touchpad driver install?

Please install the following: Ethernet driver Optical drive firmware Provide another MTADiag log after installing. Those are the only two drivers out of date. Your computer is very, very old and I'm surprised it runs Windows 7 decently. Windows XP might have better performance since there are actually proper graphics drivers for XP.

Is performance so terrible that a resolution lower than 1280x800 actually helps? If you absolutely require scaling options, perhaps check your BIOS settings (generally del, F2, or F10 at the initial "Dell" splash screen after powering on your laptop) for such an option. If that doesn't work, I'll find an older or the original video driver later today, it's 3:21 am and I need to sleep now.
