Neither tasklist nor ipconfig will run (see the errors in the MTADiag screenshot). Try this: Start -> Run -> cmd -> tasklist Then try ipconfig /all. Do you see outputs, or do you get the same error messages (server execution failed)? If so, perhaps you have a virus or Windows' services are misconfigured somehow. This may also be the cause of your graphics driver failing to update.

How often is the freezing? There may be a common factor between players with this issue. Several MTADiag logs from different people who have experienced the freeze will be helpful. Could both derip and DixieDiesel55 provide MTADiag logs, please?

It sounds like a bad resource then. Remove resources one-by-one until you find the problem resource.

It would seem that TCP traffic is blocked, have your friend check his firewall settings and allow both gta_sa.exe and Multi Theft Auto.exe.

What were you doing at the time of the crash? We need to recreate what you were doing so we can replicate the crash.

Great to hear you've fixed it. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the driver incompatibilities and hope to resolve them soon.

Here is a working link for the audio driver. Compatibility mode settings (except for run as administrator) should not be used with MTA, and MTADiag removes any settings.
