Hello Someone I don't know Anyways, there are some converters like Delux, ConvertFSS, etc. But mysql had this: viewtopic.php?f=108&t=27174 It's a good SA-MP <-> MTA SA map converter. I would like you to try to convert it there. But still, I'm not sure about the structure of the script there. I converted SA-MP maps, not the gamemodes, from the forum. Well, just copy and paste it there. It would become an MTA map. Btw, for the faster way, I didn't think there is a program in the internet that bulk-converts SA-MP map --> MTA SA map. Sorry for this

If you're using Windows XP, while in a folder, press tools, then find "Folder Options". After that, click the view tab, and find "Hide Extensions For Known File Types". There you uncheck the box. After you did it, you'll see the extensions of each files. Rename the file you need to change it to "meta.xml". If you're using Windows Vista / 7, I'm not really sure but maybe the procedure is similar.

Wow! Now MTA SA gets more crowded than ever! Congratulations! But still, it didn't beat the amount of players in SA-MP. There's much more players than in MTA SA. Well we hope someday there's much more players and hopefully became on par with SA-MP's amount of players. Anyways, what's the target of the release? What about this, use polygon shape instead (createColPolygon). It's better because you can adjust the area more accurately. I heard that Basemode's barrier was made of Polygon collision and it's easy to make in the editor! But, it's compiled. Some may wish for this as it's pretty hard to create COL without this kind of tool.

We can also use Sacky's limit adjuster's source code (old version), all thanks to mike_samaki. Now awaiting response from the MTA SA team... Pfff, I know ping, but I live in Indonesia, and 95% of the servers got at least 300 m/s. Some 200-400. Yes, there's one to none servers that was in my country, guess I'm not so lucky after all The ones that has a ping kicker are mostly competitive servers like DM or Clan War, etc. But some, like the popular SAES RPG, also includes a ping kicker, maximum of around 300 ping of average. And I oftenly got kicked out of the server just because of ping.

A tip anyway, if you want to set the spawnpoint's vehicle or change the type of pickup (and also choosing the vehicle you want to change to), press F3 or double click the object to open the properties and set your spawnpoints / objects / pickups.

For that one, I suggest that you should restart the editor, turn off all gamemodes (make sure play or any other gamemodes that you have is off if you use MTA Server.exe), I'm sure that gamemodes that are on makes disorder in the editor. It happened to me too, and it didn't happen then after I noticed it so far. In my PC, that garbage thingy was a placeholder before the "choose the object" panel opens. I could detect it as my PC is slow.

But I think deleting gta_sa.set didn't slow that down as I've tested it. My PC is slow and old, so the FPS should have been the same even without frame limiter as my FPS is around 10-25, less than the limit.

Ohh great, I was about to request for the custom MTA SA 1.1 with handlings that you had. Well, I got problems with MTA SA 1.1, so I take time to fix it.

A few months ago, I installed MTA SA 1.1 unstable. Sometimes, when I tried to use some functions with runcode, MTA SA crashes, though I can run it again. But after a few months trying, and one day (well, 2-3 weeks ago), a few days after installing MTA SA 1.0.5, I can never run MTA SA 1.1 again. I had DirectX 9.0c and the proper things needed for MTA SA to work (client + data + resources). But I still can play 1.0.5 on my PC, there must be something wrong with 1.1. If I run MTA SA 1.0.5 or GTA SA, it works as usual. If I launch MTA SA 1.1, the logo appears, but then stays like that forever. The 2 processes (Multi Theft Auto.exe and gta_sa.exe) froze. I already tried to update and even re-installing it, taken the gta3.img backup (original), but it seems that it doesn't fix the problem. What was wrong? Also at that time, my GTA SA, and their mods (including MTA SA) suddenly had speedy loadscreen (pictures fade in and out really fast, faster than normal.), It might be caused by MTA SA 1.1, maybe by crashes or something. The speedy loadscreens bother me. It affected even GTA SA. Is MTA SA 1.1 causing this? Or is there something wrong with the registry?
