I dont know if some of you guys have already noticed it, but there are some people on the community center who are uploading resources which are including mods (like vehicles etc) which are not made by them and without permission from the author of the mod. (+ they don't even give credit to the mod author)

This is really annoying and i think there should be some kind of "report" function on the community center to report these people/ressources.

Usually, the people with access to the community site will deal with this if you ask them through IRC, but I agree with your point: a "real" report feature would be nice.

I don't even get it. Once you've seen one resource replacing a vehicles model, cols and texture you should be able to do it yourself anyways.

Well, there's a difference between a really, really, re-heally simple resource and a full script that some fucker's ripped off somewhere and changed their name. In the former case, it's not such a big deal, but in the latter, it's really annoying and should be removed and discouraged.

Either way, I don't think custom models should be uploaded to the community (unless it's really yours and want to release it). There could be one resource that handles vehicle loading/unloading easily, so people who want custom vehicles can just download the resource, copy their mods in the folder and play.

It makes more sense than having to download 20 resources for 20 cars.

What norby suggested is a good idea. Anyone fancy making/adding such a script to Community ?

I know that's a bit rude but it's pretty hard to find car mods which doesn't need to modify the handling.

What does "pirates" mean here? Men who wear eyepatch with a pirate ship? What's the connection here? I don't get it. :|:?:

he's trying to say something like he told the creator that he want to put it there.. "alerted".. i'm not sure about this.. maybe it was something "hey, i'm taking your mod for the mta community".

and .. "gamemode" category.. ppl dont understand what is gamemode .. MOD of the GAME isn't a gamemode, this should be written somewhere in community ;|
