Gangs as in clans or gangs as in skins?

Gangs as in clans will exist, assuming more than 3 people play it.

How skins work will be up to the game mode, a similar system to 0.5 would be entirely possible.

Anyways we got a problem. When blue is released then mods will be there and we cant tell the difference between the gangs. But we will c. MTA team will need 2 test every mod to prove which gang we will have. If the test passes gangs will be there. If the test is unsuccessful then we will not have gangs.

Why on earth would they need to test every single mod? (and I think it would be humanly impossible anyway)

id suggest you to read thru the blue section to understand how it all works, once youre done you might realise that THERE ARE NO PROBLEMS o_O

at least not those you are making up

you guys are digressing from the original question. Will there be gangs in mta blue in the same way as there are gangs in mta0.5?

As already stated.. this will be up to the addon creator of the server you play on. It will be possible to have "gangs" if ud like.. but it wont be "necessary" as such.

U should be able to make your own gangs like clans that would be awsome!

I think it should ship DM. Instead of the stupid gangs like the sailors, robbers, crusaders etc. they should put in the original gangs like the bikers, sharks, haitins, cubans, columbians, and the vercetti gang. They should also be on their original turf too.

if DM comes with MTA blue for V.C. there should also be blips on the radar with different colours showing your gang, your rival gang, and indifferent gangs. They should also make so you lose kills when you kill your gang members and if you kill an indifferent gang than you gain no kills or lose no kills.

Because there are rivalries between gangs in MTA 0.5, rivalries in MTA blue with the original gangs works perfectly because: the cubans and haitans are rivals, the sharks and bikers are rivals, and the vercetti gang and forelli mafia are rivals.

This popped an idea into my mind... in MTA 0.5.1 theres skin selection right? so no more different blips. (or in MTA Blue there maybe different color blips) we can get to register our clan into the server and pick a color to show us on the radar... that would be neat :D

Yeah it would be nice. You can pick your color, so it should also have a different color blip. It would be great for gangwars. Ex:

VCK is pink, [KFC] is red, [VCP] is blue, [FKU] is green and they would each spawn at different places without being the same skin. It would be a lot more organized. I just wonder, how much what colors are there?

There are arond 10 predefined colours in the SCM, however the colour values for each marker will probably be held separately so it may be possible for Blue to change that to any colour.

So the clan needs to specify how much green, red, and blue in the color they pick. According to my calculations, there are 16581375 combinations. My bad for saying infinity lol :D

San Andreas pre-stablished colors would work nicely. There re 8 gangs including the families, these are:

-Grove Street Families: Green.

-The Ballas: Purple.

-Varios Los Aztecas: Soft Green.

-Los Santos Vagos: Yellow.

-San Fierro Rifa: *Soft Green.

-Triads: These dudes looks like men in black.

-Da Nang Boys: These guys has no a concrete color. :?

-The Mafia: Same as the last group, they would spawn as special players.

-With out mentioning the cops, army, fire dept...

Only problem with this, its that on the whole these gangs only controles the Los Santos area, except for Da Nang boys and San Fierro Rifa who can be located out of Los Santos limits respectively.

EDIT:

It also should rock to spawn as pedestrian or rpg characters, like normal cityzens, you would be able to do rpg works aside the ussuall gang players.

It would be cool if the gang colours you chose waere on a large colour weel so you could change the hue, brightness, and saturation. If you could change those three of those parts of colours you could come up with thousands of different colours.
