I suggested this on the other board , here is it revised..

There are many different types of players on each team , protecting a coach.The object of the game is to get the enemy coach. And bring it back to your base. Thanks to Bacon for the idea of capturing the car.

The coaches that must be captured are bulletproof flameproof dentproof etc

Heres what each field means:

Prostetutes:That type can get prostetutes

MaxHP:The maximum HP

MaxBP:The Maximum Body Armor

General Speed:The speed, as compared to the normal , that the class can go

Weapons:Weapons used

Advantages:Class specific advantages

-Soldier-

Prostetutes:Yes

MaxHP:100(125 with prostetute)

MaxBA:100

General Speed:75%

Running Breath:75%

Weapons:Handgun,AK47,M16

Advantages:Can run while using AK47

Per Team:5

-Prostetute-

Prostetutes:No

MaxHP:100

MaxBA:100

General Speed:Normal

Running Breath:100%

Weapons:Handgun,Bat

Advantages:When in a car with ally , ally can park in a secluded area and get it on :wink:

Per Team: Not limited

-Cop-

Prostetutes:No

MaxHP:100

General Speed: 75%

Running Breath: 50%

Weapons:Handgun,Shotgun

Advantages:When aiming at a foe who is laying on the ground , that foe becomes busted

Running Breath:Infinite

Weapons:Handgun, Uzi

Advantages:+x2 speed in car

Advantages:Can run while using M16.

Advantages:Can jump higher and farther than average player. Takes a lot more damage with his bat, usually killing the enemy in one hit.

Advantages:Invisible while not moving

That destroys half the fun of CTF-type games. This basically means that once someone acquires the Coach, it can't be taken back (as long as they move at a steady speed and drive carefully.) It needs to be blown up or destroyed in the take-back process. At most, maybe it could be explosion-proof (from grenades and rockets) to prevent camp-destruction of a same-team vehicle.

Also, should it be illegal to come within a close proximity of your own Coach, so that you can't camp it? Just a thought. I don't know if this is possible, but I don't think a team should be able to enter / drive their own Coach.

Actually , I chose the coach because its easy to steal back. Just park cars in front and behind it and surround it, then take it back. once its at the base the player must get out of it.

The reason is should be bulletproof and dentproof is because destroying it might mess up the game script. and would make it too easy.

So you have to steal it back

thats why when it explodes it can just respawn like in other CTC games =)

I agree that it may be too hard to get back. Geting it would require at least 3 large cars and no backup for the team with the bus (unlikely)

Maybe give it a lot of hp instead, that way you cant just shoot it up really easy, it would take awhile to wear it down and get it back

bu's are pretty strong, imm sure it'd do fgood on its own, unless you had a line runner.

a line runner, fire engine or swat car are the only 3 vehicles iw would use to take a bus on.

Im guessing leaving a bus with the HP its got would be fine (i think its quite high)

yeah swat car would be moved easily,its just got the armer, oh and a securicar if you can get one would work too.

i didnt take the time to read all of it...but i sounds like a great idea...but mayb there should be like a point system. like where u start with 100 points, 50 max hp, and 50 max bdy armor. Then u use ur points to buy guns, whores, and max hp. so if u buy a sniper rifles, you dont have too much more

yeah what if (counting ALL the game modes here) at then end of every mode, it just goes back to norm (prob dm where you can do anything) and you get point by what you did in the previous mode (like ctc or this one or something).

The gametype isn't really new, since i'm already coding a similar mission called 'Capture the Whoopee'. Changing the Mr. Whoopee to any other vehicle is possible, but remember that the mta mod is still in very early stages, and complicated missions with that many different characters will be very hard to code, let alone synchronize. My mission will (probably) be a lot of fun to play, with or without weapons, because I don't think the mta team have the syncing of bullets/explosions covered yet.

maybe instead of a car, it could just be a briefcase (typical ctf) or a koth variation (stand in one spot for X seconds inside opponent's base etc)
