Plus the other bug of the person "car jumping" eg, their client thinks its in its orgianl location whens its elsewhere. Link to comment

psymon stark Posted September 16, 2004 Share Posted September 16, 2004 he said synched, not bug free. and a game such as GTA would need to be synched to get the real gameplay. look at how the speed of GTA(oriignal) had to suffer for synchronized play. Death_Spectre Posted September 16, 2004 Share Posted September 16, 2004 At the moment the game is so unsynched I've yet to see someone drive a car with a passenger toward the water, hop out at the last minute and actually drown the passenger. The car that went into the water reappears just short of the water with the person you tried to kill in it . Link to comment
MrJax Posted September 16, 2004 Share Posted September 16, 2004 thats because the car stops as soon as you exit/bail from it, same with all vehicles, mite look like it rolls forward to u, but it doesnt to the server....... this is the main reason why u will see ppl spawnin cars from no where, that and the fact that u cant shoot up........ therefore it looks to others that ur shootin cars when ur really shootin above them!
