NosGoth
Yeah wow that would be awesome Bumpy. I can see it all clearly now. Two guys grinding two parallel rails... Man that would be great. I hope you guys find a way to improve the lenght of the replays. Link to comment
orappa
I hope you guys find a way to improve the lenght of the replays. Possible using Blue's modding capabilities perhaps? Link to comment
Si|ent
Not currently no, tho we have looked briefly at the replay system itself. Not a priority by any means however. Link to comment
Scorp
as for the slow-motion, cant u use a edit program to get a slow-motion effect, shudn't be a problem. It wouldn't achive a "bullet-time" effect tho this is of course only meant for stunt vids editing, not getting the game slower. Link to comment
crazy_man
well it is just thath i have a wery bad internet connection(i always play on lan) so i cant download that type program and think about it it would be cool if 2 exemple sabre turbos flewing out of a 1\9 kilomters tall bulding Link to comment
Agret
once you have the video recorded you can use another program to reduce the speed of the movie and create your slow mo effect although a button to make the game go into slow mo would be cool (only enabled on stunt servers for reasons previously stated by others) Link to comment
darkdreamingdan
well, i hope the replay button doesnt say uve died like it does in gta3 Link to comment

Slothman
meh, now that its bumped, is it possible to make slow motion even slower in single player? Link to comment
Ransom
I never really thought about how amazing of an accomplishment some slow motion is in a game. I have no idea how I would do something like that. !credit Max Payne 1 & 2 Link to comment
l2ebel
theres a hl mod called "the speciallist", its pretty much a mix of max payne and matrix, tried it once, wasnt too amazing but slomo worked Link to comment
orappa
theres a hl mod called "the speciallist", its pretty much a mix of max payne and matrix, tried it once, wasnt too amazing but slomo worked Has anyone ever played "The Opera" for Half-Life (a mod)? I've never played it but it has slow-mo stuff and I'm pretty sure that it had multiplayer too, and the same with "Action Half-Life" if I recall correctly. Link to comment
JacoB
Yeah, slothman, there is a SCM opcode 'set_gamespeed' - can be set as low as 0.1, wich is waay too slow, but its still possible. Slowmotion in GTA isn't that fun because there isn't "bullets". There are only trails.. Link to comment
darkdreamingdan
Nope. Because the currently Windows XP does not support the bending of time. rofl I hope you guys find a way to improve the lenght of the replays. Possible using Blue's modding capabilities perhaps? well i thought the reason mta's replays were short caus eof the load on the scm, with blue allowing lots of scm code, shudnt it be normal SP length anyway Link to comment
crazy_man
may we come in to the subject please?? (talking silently) but will it work??the slow motion (i decided to let this post see the light again) Link to comment
l2ebel
nah it was cause mta recorded all the locations of all the players, cars... unlike in sp where it only records the locations around the player and thus the mta replay size filled faster up as the sp ones, i made a topic about this sometime ago in this section, just do a search for "replays" meh, http://forum.mtavc.com/viewtopic.php?t= ... ht=replays Link to comment
Scorp
may we come in to the subject please?? (talking silently) but will it work??the slow motion (i decided to let this post see the light again) You could take a drug pill. (worked in 0.4) Then the screen would move slowly but side to side.
