"Soon" is a bit misleading though, as SA hasn't even been officially announced for PC yet. And even after it's released, they'll have to conduct feasibility testing before starting to develop it, to determine if it's even possible.

It was registered on the 17th of december 2003 (which is weird to me because I never heard of san andreas by that time). If this info is correct the team must have been thinking about doing this for a long time. I hope they ever manage to make this true.

GTA1 had 3 cities , they were "liberty city, vice city, and san andreas" they made gta3 "liberty city" in 3d ,. Then it cam gtavice city . and then obviusly San andeas was comming in 3d too.. They could have called it another name .. since gta3 is not called "liberty city" but .. it could be a wild guess . after some time . rumors came out which became truth later . that the next gta would be called San andreas ..
