Guardians Proper Posted June 5, 2004 Posted June 5, 2004 Download links always pointed to FilePlanet. Especially links from GameSpy affiliated sites!
orappa Posted June 5, 2004 Posted June 5, 2004 Download links always pointed to FilePlanet.Especially links from GameSpy affiliated sites! I'm pretty sure that IGN had its own download network (this is going back a long time).
Guardians Proper Posted June 5, 2004 Posted June 5, 2004 I'm pretty sure that IGN had its own download network (this is going back a long time). I don't use IGN at all, but I'm damn sure now you'll get links to FilePlanet; Not IGN's "special" server. That's what happens when GameSpy takes over. They bring in the steam rollers and turn your domain into a parking lot...

Guardians Proper Posted June 5, 2004 Posted June 5, 2004 I hope you get your post count reset. Do you even think before you post?... IGN Insider is $5.95/Month... That's not so bad, but who would pay for game reviews?!

Guardians Proper Posted June 8, 2004 Posted June 8, 2004 http://www.gamerankings.com Actually, I perfer http://www.gamespot.com/ They have a subscriber dealy-o, but that's only for some movies and demos... Besides, I trust their ratings a little more and I like their reviews.
Bladexen Posted June 9, 2004 Posted June 9, 2004 It is much better but in MTA pausing and lots of cheaters!
PSYKO Dragon Posted June 16, 2004 Posted June 16, 2004 I read nothing about True Crimes having multiplayer since when?
Guardians Proper Posted June 16, 2004 Posted June 16, 2004 I read nothing about True Crimes having multiplayer since when? Well, you can't really call it a multiplayer. It's more like "Evidence of a pathetic attempt to match MTA."
PSYKO Dragon Posted June 16, 2004 Posted June 16, 2004 I'm still confused as to how that feature past my eyes as I played it or was is someone like MTA that tried to add multiplayer capabilities?
Cray Posted June 17, 2004 Posted June 17, 2004 It is built-in to the PC version, done by the developers.
popups_suck27 Posted July 3, 2004 Posted July 3, 2004 True Crumes: Streets Of L.A Sucked. The storyline was terrible, the graphics and effects were terrible, and there were too many glitches on the PC version. I hope that they said MTA was better. Lmao!
Posty Posted July 3, 2004 Posted July 3, 2004 True Crumes: Streets Of L.A Sucked. The storyline was terrible, the graphics and effects were terrible, and there were too many glitches on the PC version. I hope that they said MTA was better. Lmao! Yea, i played True Crime. It wasn't that good. I'm glad they said MTA was bettter than TC. It's hillarious that a small dev team that relies on mem addys to make an sp game multiplayer did a better job at multiplayer than a professional team
StAnToN Posted July 3, 2004 Posted July 3, 2004 yes i know wot you mean i played the gamecube version of true crimes streets of LA and it sucked because the graphics were terrible i found loads of glitches such as falling through the map and getting a blank blue screen and bouncing on water ALSO AND THIS IS FUNNY women peds with a mans voice???? my verdict is the game was rushed and tried to matched GTA but failed miserably!
darx Posted July 7, 2004 Posted July 7, 2004 i have true crime for PC and the multiplayer SUCKS SO MUCH, mta all the way, .4 looks perfect
Xc0n Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 I was gonna try True crime multi but most people saying it's shit so...
Bladexen Posted July 10, 2004 Posted July 10, 2004 Yeah True crimes would be tight if more ppl would play online like there is only one server for four ppl it sucks! MTa RoCKs!
orappa Posted July 10, 2004 Posted July 10, 2004 Yeah True crimes would be tight if more ppl would play online like there is only one server for four ppl it sucks! MTa RoCKs! There's a reason why not many people are playing it... Unfortunately, the IGN one seemed to be the only review that mentioned MTA. I was disappointed not to find it mentioned in PC Zone, who only said a couple of sentences about multiplayer.
