megaman54
Would it be possible to compile and run an MTA server on Raspberry Pi? I have a B model of it and i'm willing to try compiling and running a mta server on it Link to comment
Jaysds1
You mean this: http://www.raspberrypi.org/ ? Have you tried the Linux version of MTA? Linux: http://linux.multitheftauto.com Link to comment
megaman54
Yes i mean that. And i'm quite sure i need to compile the server for ARM before i can use it. Edited July 1, 2013 by Guest Link to comment

x86
It's possible, and it works. I did ran a server on my old Galaxy S II once. Link to comment

toptional
I've ordered a rasberry pi! Can't wait I'm sure you can run an MTA server on it just use the linux server. Link to comment

Jaysds1
It would be nice to use the Raspberry Pi as a server, but it isn't the strongest/best server hosting device... Unless you buy more than one and make a super computer with it. Ex: More Results Link to comment
megaman54
Well its still a fun challenge to try host something on it. Link to comment
Jaysds1
That's true, Oh, and here's a webmin aka web-admin for the raspberry pi. Link to comment
glowdemon1
Let me know what the results are because I'm planning on doing some home hosting and switching to Raspberries/Beagleboard, heard beagleboard is better but also twice as expensive as a raspberry. Link to comment
MTA Team Blokker_1999 Posted September 17, 2013 MTA Team Share Posted September 17, 2013 Euhm, no, you can't. The net.so file is compiled for the x86 platform and there is no ARM version available. While it may be possible to compile the server itself without any errors you'll never be able to start it up with a net file. And indeed, the RPi would not have enough computational power to run any decent server. Link to comment
FernandoMTA
Bumping this old topic because it shows in top Google results for MTA ARM server. It's currently possible by using arm and arm64 MTA:SA server builds: https://nightly.mtasa.com/ Link to comment
