i cant get a ip adress for mta gta3

ok ive installed mirc and all the mta:ma files....ive tried lots of differnt versions and i still cant figure this out....when i open /mta it brings up the admin panel

i go to options to try to turn scripts on and change the mtaph and mtaserver dir's and anytime i do nething and hit close mirc says

/did: insufficient parameters (line 3, mta.mrc)

and when i go back into options there back how they started out please PM me

The map gives an error;

What did I do?

Please make sure you have downloaded the necessary map files

and extracted them to your mta.mrc directory

Surely the fact it is trying to load a .jpg rather than a .map is a problem?

I think u mean .ini's they make themself when u load the script...u know how to load a script?

i have a localhost server running

and in mirc a folder with mta.mrc and mtama.mrc .. and a few others

i do this right ?

open mirc

disconnect

do //load -rs $+(",$$sfile(*.mrc,Select your mta.mrc,Load),")

point it to mta.mrc

do

point it to mtama.mrc

or am i missing something

when i just load the mtama.mrc it will nag bout missing GUS

but when i do it like this i keep getting

... the mta.mrc can connect perfectly

hmmmm .. it worked when i disconnected "MTA Remote Admin" it worked better ... now i do get the stats ingame

but the mtama thing still keeps saying its disconnected .. anything ?

For MTA:VC, get server patch 1 at the main site to fix the time out bug.

You might want to get MTA:mA v4.12

just trying to load the grs results in a failure on not running the ma .. running it with ma - i cant connect to localhost nor on IP

mirc admin works but im having trouble with mtamagrs 4.14

it loads , but wont connect .. it doesnt connect with console else id see "wrong password" messages there

but .. im really really noob with mircscript and mta:ma , so maybe i just dont get what i need to do

MTA:mA GRS is for MTA:VC it will not work for MTA:SA . Download General Use Script by [XE]Tommis its like a smaller verison of GRS.

i think i was just confused .. i got that yesterday as well

and it took me a bit of trouble getting mirc to NOT autoload the scripts i tested ..
