eAi
Just thought I'd point everyone to my MTA:// Handler, that will allow mta:// links to work on: Internet Explorer The run box Shortcuts Mozilla Mozilla Firefox Netscape Navigator mIRC And more (probably) Anyway, just download http://www.opencoding.net/zips/mtaph.zip extract the exe to somewhere and run it. Thats all there is to it! Comments are welcome! Have fun. eAi PS: Heres a test link for you: mta://64.246.50.5 and another: mta://64.246.50.5:2103 Update: It now works with mtavc:// links as well and a bug fixed where links with no port didn't work. Update: For instructions on how to make this work in Opera scroll down or click here. Note: Robpol86 is in tears as I forgot to mention IT WAS HIS IDEA. eAi
People have asked how to use it in opera (opera being one of the few browsers that it won't just work). Heres some instructions - You must have opera version 7.22 or later (current version is 7.23): First open opera. Select the preferences in the file menu: Then select "Programs and paths" from the side lists: Click add. When this box appears, enter 'mta' in the protocol box and select the top option. Click OK twice and you're done! Enjoy! eAi Link to comment

darkdreamingdan
looks like eai wont have to integrite gta3:mta support now since mta0.4 will have the same client, so the same protocol can be used Link to comment
eAi
I don't see why this won't be implemented directly into MTA 0.4 (either as an option or by default). The code is pretty basic really. eAi Link to comment
