Guest Posted September 27, 2003 Posted September 27, 2003 Well... I love to keep own server with my friends and play with modified cfgs. When the new version came it made it impossible to modify handling.cfg. Now we all think that every single vehicle in the whole game is too slow and powerless. Is there any way to disable that thing from my server? Or if there is not, repair that thing, make some option that you can choose at your own server that do you want to block modified cfgs. Its not fun to make stunts anymore because bikes doesnt have power

MasterEvilAce Posted September 27, 2003 Posted September 27, 2003 i think if pure server is DISABLED, then everyone will download the server's files, and use them, instead of the defaults. and the CRC check should be on the server's files then, instead of the default mta files
True Posted September 27, 2003 Posted September 27, 2003 That would involve a bit of management, ie. replacing files when MTA quits, taking care of it in case it crashes (MTA, not the game, though I haven't seen it do it yet), etc. - as so you can go back to normal when its done.
