Azu
Would it be possible to do a SandBox(BF2 Mod) thing with Lua? Link to comment
Robix
No sanbox in Bf2 sucks.Best sandbox is GMOD 10. Anyway i think it's already possible. But maybe not online but offline.I think you saw a video where CJ was flying with somekind sledges. So it's already somthink like sandbox Link to comment
rockstarrem
I kind of consider the map editor "sandbox" but if you mean on foot thats different. Link to comment

Manej
Until a developer says otherwise, I assume it's going to be in the release. Link to comment

You can, but it won't be as advanced as GMod due to the limitations of GTA's engine (and of MTA). Link to comment
MrJax
Oh right, so you mean just use our engine and functions to build your own mod from scratch? Well we use our own core to build mods like race and deathmatch, then all the scripting stuff has just been chucked inside the deathmatch mod, to be interfaced with maps. You will have quite a lot of flexibility to make your own game-modes, but it'll be within the regular deathmatch environment (eg: you'll have to connect to a server and start a map), this could change one day though Link to comment
