Simbad de Zeeman Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 did you guys changed the maximum frames of the framelimiter? because:
Robix Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 [quote name=>SoL OMG this is program FRAPS.He can show FSP in games.
paul527 Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 who cares Shady, anyways, did you guys change the FPS limit at all?
orappa Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 It was changed, I can't remember what it was changed to though.
darkdreamingdan Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 I think the state of the frame limiter is unconfirmed. It certainly has been altered from Race, though im not sure what the plan is for release.
Mnightmare Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 why is the frame rate significant?.. can someone explain.. hehe..
erorr404 Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 why is the frame rate significant?.. can someone explain.. hehe.. It's locked at 25 fps in race and many people find that annoying. It's a much better experience playing a game at 60 fps, for example.
MadKilla Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 FPS means Frame per second, that mean how many images your computer can get every second. The higher it is, the better your gaming experience is. The lower it is and you will feel a laggy gaming experience.
MrCeoZ Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 100fps ... 30/60 fps is killing the gameplay too slow
Jigga Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 If there will be no way of taking advantage from higher FPS rate, then it should be either unlimited or limited to round 75.
orappa Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 If there will be no way of taking advantage from higher FPS rate, then it should be either unlimited or limited to round 75. There is a way of taking advantage of it, hence why it was introduced in the first place. Setting it to 75 would be too high.
Jigga Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 I said if. I know there is a way of taking advantage of it in many games, like in MTAVC you can switch glitch so fast it's not even imaginable. And in CS 1.6 with high end PC you can run the whole map in 10 seconds. so if there is a way to do so in MTASA DM, then it should be obviously limited.
Leviathan Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 I agree with Robix, 40 is good for most players, just don't only look at yourself and your NASA-computer but take the people in mind with lesser computers, setting the frame limiter like 60 might give unfair advantages over other players.
