Need to stop crashers

As the server grows popular some people seem to be happy to crash it.

I will not mention where they come from *cough*XE*cough*

They seem to use a bot that-

1. uses a !giveme like command placing all cars in one location

2. crashes upon their connecting

We are banning the IP and sending reports to the provider, but I would like to stop them.

If anyone has a way to stop them or can send me the tools used so that I can fiigure the way to block them myself it will be highly appreciated.

-edit- The server is MTA 0.5 with mIRC scripts running

They are probably jealous that you have a better script than them or something...

I wouldn't have expected something like this from Tommis though, I thought he was more mature than that.

I just noticed the people that come over and crash us play there, I do not think that all of the people there are bad and I hope that the main guys from there can assist me.

It it not easy running something professional, but we are trying.

And, why would i want to crash your server? I am really confused why you are accusing me of all of this. Please explain, i am really confused. Also tell me the evidence you have, and the ips you have that did this so i can scan if any XE Members were involved. Please add me on msn [email protected] and we can resolve this. Also, jani you are correct, plus he has no proof. I dont even know what server is yours.

oh i reread it a bit ..if its someone else running scripts on your server its about time to change admin/rcon pw's

if its someone with some sort of memory hax .. uhhhm .. i dunno , but i dont know mta vice really good

I dont think its a XE clan member.

Im also a XE clan member. And i dont see the point why a XE clan member wants to crash his own server

I dont see the point in crashing servers.

Prolly some sich freak who has no life.

Or someone who is jalous cause our server is populated and we have a good leaded clan.And 100% Custom script.

Believe me , no XE clan member would ever do something of this kind.
