Strepto
I've seen worse... but true, lag and ping are very different things. There's a guy that plays at my favorite server with a ping of over 100, without lagging. While some guys with below 40 "jump around" like crazy... Link to comment
snow8oard101
with the sync that this game has u will not notice unless 250+ the rest is all PC specs. Its always fun to be called a hacker when u blow by people at the start when all the cars are packed together Link to comment
Kent747
the guy has low latency, but he has a low framerate, as a result, his pc runs slower than yours does.. in between packet your pc tries to guess what is going to happen next, then his pc sends the data later than you'd expect it, which causes that warping effect. we're trying to improve sync as best as we can for the next release, but some stuff is unnavoidable Link to comment
snow8oard101
like the explanation, I am gonna search for an already started topic, but if there is not one I am gonna make a help topic for low fps problems and what they can do to help. Link to comment
Fat Russian
Man I hope my game won't be like that (I'm gettin GTA for PC today). Coz if it is, I'll want to smash something. Link to comment
NapsK
I guess you'd already know your hardware, if it can handle games like GTA or not. Link to comment
Eddie
I've seen people driving over water and thats pretty bad lag. I wonder whos fault it is though. Link to comment
NapsK
Well, IF barrels are exploding, you know? Like in the destruction derby, and it doesnt explode at their screen, because they're lagging to hard.. Is that called desynced or just lagg? Because you should have to see the same as a lagger does, although it takes a little bit longer before the comp of a lagger reconizes it. Link to comment
