UK Red Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 I know the race file dictates the vehicles used in the race, but what I'm suggesting/asking if it will happen is the option to give the players a choice. For example, a sports car race giving the player the choice between Super GT, Turismo, Bullet and Banshee. Or maybe based on similar speed, between a PCJ, Turismo, Elgey, etc. I don't remember this being mentioned, and I did do a search first

m21 Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 i dont think thats a good idea becouse if the race is an slow wehicle race like stallion so u cant change ur car to a racer and win easially... but i can suggest something else there... the road is blocked in the middle and u can pass the block by jumping... and over the block there is a line of another cars u can drive in...

xerox Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 vehicle choice is purely that of the race creator some races have multiple vehicle choices, but overcourse you put the better vehicles far out enough so that its purely tactical if you take it or not same with other pickups etc

My fave is the Turismo, but I know a friend of mine would take the Super GT every time. I'll bet there's others who'd take the Bullet, and others yet who'd take the Banshee. This is why I think it would be interesting, it wouldn't be about how good you and the other players are in that car, it would be about who's best in their choice of car. Of you can have silly ones where you get a choice of several crappy cars.
{Static} Posted November 27, 2005 Posted November 27, 2005 I suppose you're right, and for future releases when there is more customization options (ie the SDK) it could be used. But for now, I think "car pickups" as such, makes for fairer gameplay.
