Jani Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 Stop all downloads/uploads when you play. Sign out of everything (MSN, etc). Try to close everything you don't need open (web browsers, mirc, etc). Find a server that is close to your location, preferrably in the same country/continent. And you aren't lagging because you can't kill anyone, you can't kill anyone because you're lagging
erorr404 Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 your connection to the server is probably poor, try to find a server closer to where you live. btw, even with very low ping, there will still lag in MTA (compared to 1st party multiplayer games).

Gamefreek Posted October 12, 2005 Posted October 12, 2005 Just because he has a high ping doesnt mean he needs a better connection. Jelloboy, try finding servers that are closer to you to help with the ping problem
