Hi!

Can you tell me which tool are you using for recording movies in GTA:SA?

I mean the movies on the main page (Racing modus).

Hopefully not Fraps and the Game was set to 640x480.

Sorry for my bad english! I´m from Germany.

Fraps is used a lot. why not? and ofcourse the game has been set to 640x480, it reduces the file size so even people with slow internet can view it...

www.fraps.com

Who said they used Fraps?

Exactly!

I want to know what their used and not what you use for your videos.

You can resize the video after you record it, too.

Thank you!

But I didn´t like Fraps. The output file size is very big. Which codec you use to reduce it? Divx?

actually i recorded it in 1280x1024, and yes i used fraps v2.5.1

:D and did you record it as half the size or something? I have 1280x1024 too and it was half of it I thought, hmm I'll check the movie agian.

And the output files are uncomprimized files it's normal they are so big, all the files you watch are already comprimized so nothing strange about the huge file. I have free disk space enoegh so I haven't got problems. I got 320 gigabyte left.

Yup, the latest fraps to record i assume, and then i convert those avi files (with sound) to 3vix so they can be applied to Vegas. I edit and put a custom rendering setting of my own with WMV

For LQ version, i usually render with AVI and let Vdub work its magic

I had a new Question:

In Fraps you can change in the "movie" dialog between half-size and full-size. What you are using while record? And had you record it with 25fps?
