The only reason I can see for Rockstar buying out MTA is to prevent them from making the modification, but they can easily do that with a lawsuit should they wish to. It would probably be easier for Rockstar to create multiplayer themselves because they have access to GTA's source code.
Slothman Posted July 23, 2005 Posted July 23, 2005 people have much higher standards when they play a multiplayer game from a proffesional publisher. i remember there was a class action suit against some rpg game once cause it had a few glitches. mta guys have room for error cause they arent being payed
