No problem, it happens to me too. Sometimes I can't really tell what people are trying to say because the words on screen have no emotion. This is the disadvantage of text communication over voice communication. Because usually its more important how you say something than what you say. Anyways, do any developers know if the ALT-TAB, minimize, or windowed mode features are going to be altered on the DP3 release?

Who asked? I was responding to the thread author, not you, sorry for the confusion. How can you imply such an abstract concept? When I meant I am sorry for those players, it means that I feel sorry that they are missing out on such a great modification over such trivial elements. Although I do believe such elements need improvement, that shouldn't mean dismissing the mod completely. They should join the forum, and voice their concern over what they think should be improved about MTA. That's why this thread section is here. If they don't feel obligated to do so, then they truly don't care.

I strongly disagree with you. I think you are missing the potential for this idea. Imagine someone is developing a custom model and needs to adjust the wheel size to find the perfect fit. This would make it much easier than having to restart the game each time the size needs adjusting/re-adjusting.

Here's what you can do. While disconnected from a server, open your console (using F8) and type "window" Remember that MTA will not allow window mode changes while connected to a server (DP 2.1). MTA should now be changed from full screen to windowed mode. [ALT+TAB] should now function correctly, with the exception that MTA will remain atop all other windows. This means you may use [ALT+TAB] to bring other windows to attention like normal, but you may need to move the MTA window out of the way to see it. I recommend using a smaller resolution in MTA than your desktop resolution, so that you may relocate your window around the desktop easier with room to spare. Windowed mode will allow you to manipulate windows outside of MTA, and it will also allow you to minimize the MTA window itself. (Remember, to toggle the cursor in-game, press [ALT+Right Mouse Button]. This cursor should be able to move from MTA to the desktop and back) I feel sorry for those players.

Well, SA-MP master server and site are back up again (thanks to LittleWhitey). But, I believe the development is gone, so don't expect a new release until a new team forms.

Yeah those would work well for dodo duel. If we do use those rocks: I had an idea for team spawning, the Pilots would spawn in that nearby abandoned airstrip, with dodos lining the runway ready to go. And the Attackers they would spawn, well, somewhere away from their hill so they would have to drive to it, so that it takes a little time to get back to the hill. Just like in GTA3, you gotta drive back there, giving the Pilots a little break. The Pilots will get no weapons, and the Attackers will get weapons that can only fire on the hill, so they don't drive to the airstrip and shoot the Pilots. Also, if possible, the airstrip should be a kill zone for Attackers, so if they try to ram some planes with their car, they would just die as they got near the airfield.

Yes, we, LCK, VCK, and others will be there to train new players. Btw I guess this thread kindof sets up a suggestion for someone to make a GTA3 dodo handling mod for SA, possibly as a resource (I believe the new MTA DP3 will have vehicle handling resources available)

Yeah, well I've noticed that many do not take Jack seriously (from gamers to lawyers), and that Jack's attempts to shutdown expressions of art/entertainment usually lead people to reinforce their belief in the freedom of that expression. Just because parents are too dumb to know what their kids are ready for, doesn't mean Jack should try to rest that responsibility on game developers. His logic just doesn't make any sense in that aspect.
