A bigger city I dunno... once I got used to VC's map (fortunately, R* included a map in the game menu this time), it seemed kinda small...

just noticed.. the MTA:VC screenshots section still says: [N/A Yet]

MTA:VC. The mod this forum is for (although you already know that I'm sure)

and remember to turn off the option to list the game in ASE. (the option might not be there in MTA:VC... Haven't had a chance to test it out. It was in 0.3b, so I'm just guessing it's in MTA:VC)

of course, what this does to MTA is unknown... it could be a little thing, or it could be something big, like other players disconnecting when they see you... I think you can get your VC disc replaced... Somewhere or other.

I don't know of any hosts, but you can link to the image, instead of a page containing the image... just type (without the period in [url.]): [url.]http://www.geocities.com/your_user_name/image_name.jpg[/url] (or .gif, or .bmp... etc.)

well, you can do that (something the team missed out on)... but chances are that you're either f**king up your game, or f**king up someone else's game

MTA isn't open source... And likely never will be. You can check out GGM or GTAT (forgot their sites)... they might be freer with their source code.

But it's such a cool gang idea... Even though I don't really know how it'd fit into a multiplayer mod... maybe stunt competitions... That gives me a crazy idea for a game mode: 3 judges. They watch the stunt, and dish out points. Fun for all...

The NO-CD cracks modify the .exe... this could really mess with MTA. Chances are that there aren't any no-cd cracks that'll work with MTA

hmm... just for the MP? in my opinion... no maybe 0.4 or 0.5 I'd recommend it.

you say you're on a firewall? tried opening the ports on the firewall, and using port forwarding on the router?

yup... I think MTA:VC was made for 1.1 actually... (though it'll run on 1.0) Remember to make sure that frame limiter is on... R* really messed that option up... turning it off screws everything to pieces. Oh, and what's your video card?

um.. do you have it installed though? you only need the 2nd CD to play...

google for: "vice city" 1.1 patch and make sure that frame limiter is on in the graphics settings
