Well, a complete script is a lot to write. You have to depend on persons / idiots which will write whese scripts for you in spare time, like Oli. Second option is to buy a programmer and pay him to write a script. most admins with cool scripts have put a lot of valuable time in those scripts and wont give them away.

True. But these ideas are not that original (to be quite honest). Every more experienced MTA could have told him that. Even looking as the last 10 threads in this forum with suggestions, these are all the same kind of things. I guess the MTA allready knows these things. If everyone would use more on-topic topic titles, everybody could see where thinse things are about.

Uhm.. cutting out the scripting tools is not nice coding. The you'd better write your own dll with sockets to skip entire MTA:mA.. ugly

The addons / scripting section is not the busy anymore, so despite the time you've inversted in it, I dont see the point for another place for scripts. Personally, i prefer a good moderated Scripting/Addon forum on mtavc.com so all scripts are centralised, and everybody knows where to find them

So? a) How much did you steal? b) 110 kb for a script is a huge overkill... It code cant be compact or wellcoded Aeron: way to go!

Still working on it New project: direct connection from PHP to MTAMA, without SQL Oli is a bit busy on other stuff, so we dont make much progress...

If MTA:mA got disconencted and reconnects, other ppl can be on the server. Rechecking on connect is very smart

If you type the IP yourself it will, if you want to read out the IP of a player (i guess you will) you have to use a timer to wait for the value to be loaded

All he needs is a little hand in helping him learn HOW to script. I'm not making any scripts for anybody, nor any examples, casue i'm sick of it. But I do help those who want to try and learn how to modify scripts themselves
