No u cant play on a 1 version and try to connect to a server that is using a nother version

Maybe u ppl have forgotten that its a probably in its Alpha state..so dont expect a game like when ur playing medal of honor, or counter strike Im still amazed how these guys can do something out of nothing. the mta team have done a great job

lol dont ask me man ...im no webhosting expert..whoever made the ftp server should set it up right...and if it is setup right then we need him/her (mostly a Him lol) to make a username and a password for whoever needs the files offered ...in other wrods u gotta contact the ftp host

U should try more than just 1 server...u probably got that error because the server is is just temproraly crashed ...but im very sure that u should be able to connect to alll servers normally

u can download the manual ( if u still are having problems) and it will explain in reasonable detail how to get the whole thing started and working

ya when i checked the links it says it needs a password when i have my download maneger on and an error when i dont (when i use noraml windows explorer download maneger)

My bad, My bad...U got me there...im sorry i didnt read all of ur post...all i read is i had the same problem and then i skipped to the second line where it said u had 2 versions(which i didnt get) and i moved on...now that i know u got a clean intstall...lol that's freaking weird..u didnt update right? if u by any chance get to find wat files the mta client scans for, u might have 1 of them currupted even if u do a clean install.. u never know....

No there isnt..its a bit buggy but u still can go in ...just stick right into the back and press home and it will work ..works for me and everyone that i know

Im not sure...I think when u dont c any teammates that means that ur not on the teammate PPL ...i mean when u choose ur character, out of 5 characters i believe there is 3 FREE FOR ALL!!! and 2 Teammating characters...so im pretty sure if u pick 1 of the 2 teammate characters u would see ur teammates...
