Make sure that the ip you put in the admin panel is the same as the server's ip, but make sure that you have typed in the correct port number. If your server's port and the admin panel port are set to the same port in the serverconfig then i don't think it'll work. So more simply...set the adminpanel port to 2004 and set your pass making sure that the adminpanel box is ticked. I hope this helps
