  1. Thank you for the hint of it being old, but it just caught my eye. People ALWAYS mess up server side and client side stuff.

  4. That might be true, but do you really think a 10 year old kid will ever run a good server? He will mix up all scripts bad. Also, tell that the guys who released their code and maps at https://community.multitheftauto.com/ind ... =resources. Also, you are playing an opensource mod called "MTA". Yes, MTA is opensource. I never saw a 10 year old kid claiming MTA as his own.
  5. At the moment I am hosting stuff on SanZoR's machine, but I am planning to change that and have a walk to a Hetzner server. As soon as that is done, you are free to host servers there - under the condition that the servers, or at least the non-anticheat parts of the servers, will be kept opensource. If you don't want to release your Scripts to the public, it might cost you a bit, even though the player count will stay unlimited. Reason for the "open source" idea is that I want to support those, who actually do something for the MTA community and release their scripts. That does not mean I'm stupid enough to host any 13 year old's server. Also I posted stuff here since wanted to advertise my new forum: http://deification-of-mayhem.de.to/. Its just a test, since I never actually "created" a community before. But gamenet.fi is dieing, and even though SanZoR supported me as much as he could, I cannot do anything for that community any more. Also, I think gamenet is not the type of name I'd choose for a community, since I don't want to talk about games alone. In other words, I am not sure if SanZoR will host anything again. The new host will be made, and paid, by me. And also I'm not asking for money, I'm asking for a community. Communities will make MTA more successful!
  6. I need to somewhat install an old 1.0.1 client to be able to create a new anti-s0beit... Wasn't working on that. The positive side about creating a scripted anticheat is the fact that the scripts are faster to be changed than the hardcoded anticheats.
  7. Ok, I want to add a few things. This script solves the "cant hit a player" problem (unless you have some big lag). Also, it works for all kind of peds and vehicles. Headshots are synced too. You can set the weapon damage of each weapon yourself.
  8. The Anti-s0beit is outdated. I will not update it any more, and it will not work any more.

Slothman, since I'm a total loner and a jackass most of the time, I know this will end in me pissing you off and you pissing me off, but I did sort of an abstract ped layer which does nothing but control the most basic ped movements. This way I was able to make a basic zombie ped script like yours with a lot less effort. I intend to give it to you with my zombie example, if you promise to improve it and to fix the final bugs. Since I got no time, there is two big goals to accomplish: 1) Virtual Peds: If you move further away from peds, the ped itself disappears, but the server remembers where that virtual ped is and respawns it when the player comes back. Shouldn't be troublesome. 2) Using the ped waypoints some MTA script already had. I think it was one of the MTA team's guys, he released one big script with the single positions already. I'll work on that myself, but I got this sort of Asperger's problem: No energy means no work. I can't force myself to work, no one else can, what makes me the hell of a co worker. But if I start to work I'll script 1000 lines of code without compiling it once, fix 20 bugs and got a full script. Its just to warn you, you'll get the script anyways if you intend to improve it.

Just for your information, the anticheat is not perfect, also, its the old version, the new one is currently in progress. Current bugs to fix: Vehicles do no damage to players. Vehicle health is not server side. Anti-s0beit is not working any more, and the anti-jetpack does not work, either. They sucked anyways. I'm currently working on a different system, which does not detect any s0beit or such stuff but checks if a player is using ANY cheat. Yeh, I forwarded all s0beit hackers to robhols server, since I was bored n stuff. Robhol wasn't amused.

  15. Ah, secret advertising. Well, there is some servers with forced fairness, like the zombie mode server or the cepbep, which is a freeroam but with guns n stuff.
  16. No, he is making his own, and I just decided to help him, using my experience with my own anticheat, and letting him add such simple things like the s0beit detector. He will script it all himself completely. After someone said he was stealing my script I just wanted to make sure he doesn't. Fact is, he hasn't even planned to. Also, to tell you the truth: A tiny voice tells me he will take at least one month for the anticheat... So, robhol is right, lets close this topic.
  17. All gamenet.fi servers and the "CepBep" are protected by my anticheat and syncro script. If the anticheat only killed you, you can be sure its mine, since it actually does not need to kick or ban players. And I have to add that I will not release that script to the public, for several reasons.

Dunno if it simply works like that, I coded it on the fly, but its pretty simple and worth a try, isn't it?
  19. I'd add the scripts to my freeroam server if you really want to give it away like that. But releasing it to the MTA community would definitely help more then just one guy, and I can give you a reason for that: Most of the admins already have a system that i.e. saves money or rewards stunts, at least those who are interested in it. On the other hand, it would really, really help the newbies who don't know how to do that if the scripts were in the community base. So, think about it.
  20. It is possible, with a workaround. Since trains always are on tracks, you can just take the size of the train and make a script simulate a crash.
  21. When you press and release the acceleration button, you can pretty much mess with the "gear sound".
  22. Relax a bit, Taalasmaa is just trying. I looked at his anticheat and its at least a beginning, but at the moment I'd say its not ready for a release yet. Maybe its the pressure, he tries to do it like I do, but, I needed three years for the current state of syncro and anticheat, so, he'll need a while, too.

I would not create a new gamemode for the maps only, there is a lot of gamemodes available already that may fit your needs: Deathmatch Team Deathmatch Capture the Vehicle Capture the Flag Capture the Orb etc. etc. So, if I was you I would search for a decent gamemode and create a map for that.
