  1. Robhol, you "how much" response has become somewhat like arc's "When we add dolphins" response: old and overused. Unfortunately for you, there are people willing to create scripts, i think its unfair to turn away people requesting scripts because you cannot speak for everyone on this website. I don't have a problem with you not wanting to do this for free. I have a problem with you trying to get rid of those who ask for scripts/help when there may be someone who does want to do it. Clearly you havent been on this forum for long enough - in the past there have been topics which were soley for writing scripts for people for "free", of which I have even requested free scripts for without offering cash before i was able to script. It gives newbies the opportunity to learn how to script, or simply allow experienced scripters to help out. So, contrary to what you may think, not everyone is in it for money.
  2. A: Blast is alive and kicking despite you probably being the last BLASTA member to post in over a year Q: How much water?
  3. Assuming you're on dp2.3, the only thing i can suggest is that your admin account hasnt been given sufficient previlages. Does the admin account work properly ingame?
  4. The stealth EDF is provided in the latest Resources package. If you have the 1.0 editor installed, chances are you have the stealth EDF installed already. Just do as i instructed from within the map editor and you can place stealth spawnpoints.
  5. 1) Stunts have been scriptable from dp1, simply download the "Stunt" resource from community 2) There are plenty of tuning/paint/weapon shops. One notable one is mabako services 3) I believe these animations are now active 4) Garage doors are now totally scriptable, it is up to the gamemode writer how he or she wants to set garage doors.
  6. Yeah, so i've heard. Unfortunately ive never reproduced the problem so its hard for me to debug. If you have any easy ways to reproduce feedback would be welcome
  7. Just load the stealth edf. This can be done by using the "Definitions" dialog to load stealth, then scrolling over the icons to change your EDF.
  8. It would be straightforward to write a mass-mover, infact i think those exist already. Grouped objects support specifically however is more difficult.
  9. That's not really true. The base element can be anything, it does not affect the triggerTo target.
  10. Its acknowledged, but its a much more difficult task than you might think. Its planned for the 2.0 version of the editor, but not a current priority.
  11. why on earth shouldnt we delete it? You could have at least pasted in BLAST so it doesnt affect your post count.
  12. Well, firstly your links are dead, silverfang. And secondly, at least he's asking for advice at the very least rather than someone to do it for him. Gioserpo, Although its unlikely you'll get anyone volunteering to code for you, people are happy to help with anything you're stuck with. So in that sense, i reccomend you get familiar with clientside functions if you want to achieve something like a dragonball. Functions such as processLineOfSight will undoubtedly be useful.
  13. Yep, after you've created the image you can create EditBoxes on top. Make the guiCreateEdit's parent the static image for it to work properly.
  14. The easiest way is probably the 1.0 editor. A CDM edf is likely to be added soon.
  15. After you press the Map Editor button, open the Console and see how far the local server process gets. I can get into the local server fine in Windows 7 (though i crash once i get in )
  16. Nice set of videos. I bet would beat them first time if i tried though, since im so awesome. also s0beit.
  17. We can't fix bugs when they're not reported. For most of us, the map editor is stable and does not crash often. If you want to see bugs fixed you have to do more than complain.
  18. This is a redistributable file. If you google the filename you can normally download it, and install into your C:\windows\system32 directory.
  19. it's great ...i love it, much better than the old editor. (only thing i dislike is that, unlike the old map editor, you can't rotate objects while they are attached to you cursor ... but it's not that important ) black screen....... .. NEVER head this problem. You can, just hold lctrl and scroll. The normal scroll now adjusts the attachment distance (hold shift+ scroll down to see what i mean)
  20. 1.0 will be the "true" upgrade for MTA:Race. As for mta:dm not having any racemaps or respawn/checkpoints, this is totally false. MTA 1.0 fully facilitates the original Race. The only issue is the server admins not upgrading to the latest MTA. There wont be another version of MTA:Race.
  21. No silly, limbo of the lost
  22. Might covnert this into an MTA:Race sometime. Definitely a candidate for resources svn. How's the new editor fairing?
  23. Lua has a built in next() function, lol
