Can we start another thread for cryptic IRC chat logs that I don't understand or can we get someone to explain to the non-geeks?

I had the file and tried to connect but I guess the server wasn't up and I didn't have the patience. I have an open mind but you cannot compare a betatest with a long ago released client that has been heavily used for months. All I am saying is when the MTA guys tested thier product they didn't act like it was the second coming of Christ. They just released it and waited for us to say that. Right now they could post a feature list that contains everything they are planning for the new core. They will not do that because they don't want the expectations to outweigh the results. Maybe GTAT 0.5 will be everything it has claimed since August 2003. But inspite of a betatest it still remains to be seen

dummy, And don't advertise your server on other servers. You can tell your friends that you are going to the 411 server but putting the IP in the chat and telling ppl to join you is wrong and you did this in GOONS yesterday. for scripts ( I can think crap up but I can't get these to work) Can you make a script that will take attendence? You turn on the script and everyone who isn't idle will have to type in !here or somehting and anyone who doesn't do this within 2 mins will be kicked. Even if they are kicked they can just rejoin but ppl who sit ingame idle for hours to keep the spot or thier score will be forced out. This would be turned on by the admin when they feel like it or it could be auto every hour or two. thanks kfg

there are two possible solutions Voltage I have seen this happen before 1. Read the instructions and make sure that ASE knows where MTA is and MTA knows where you installed Vice City 2. Unistall the game. Unplug your computer and throw it in the river because you are too stupid to play this game.

What ping level is impossible to kill? I have killed ppl as high as 400 or so with a little more trouble but not impossible.

I know he is trying to betatest it and I even wanted to try out of curiosity. 10 mins later I gave up and went right back to good old MTA again. Showing a still picture or even a video clip isn't proof. Proof is releasing a client and a server and letting ppl play. MTA has done this and if you had to bet on who's next release will be better I hope you look at track records and don't believe the hype. I would love to be in a server with 96 ppl and boats? sure why not and no crashes and all the rest but saying you are going to do it does not equal doing it. MTA had boats working but it wasn't playable, If it's not playable what good is it?

His problem is not cheaters. I played with him he was online with me and a bunch of expert players in the PartyServer. He kept complaining about cheaters the only suspect was a guy who was laggy but killable and I explained that he has a 300 something ping and he will not be kicked for that. He can kill him for the challenge or avoid him. The main guy he accused of cheating was ME!!!! I was the admin he talked calm to and the player he cursed at the same time, very funny. Nitro, Sorry you won't play anymore you helped countless ppl increase thier kill count and you are a good victim. I tried to help you learn to kill but you quickly logged off and said some crap about cheaters. Come back to the PartyServer and contact me. In 10 mins I can have you killing a whole lot better than you do now. You barely run you are a sitting duck. I will seriously give you a lesson not a diss and you will be able to kill and maybe pass this knowledge on so less lamers cry cheater. Cya online

kicking teamkillers after two incidents will force ppl who are not in gangs to work together but it should be separate from a gang teamscript where you want the enemy to kill each other and it might be a tactic to use. also you should build in a timer to keep them out like kotc does. again, I stink as scripting but I am so money at asking for stuff
