Well I just sold my 1700 and my 1 gig but I am left with Toshiba Sat 950mhz that I use for mIRC and msn/aol/yahoo plus admin clients when I am in game my main comp Shuttle 800mb fsb 3.0 gig pentium 1 gig of memory 120 gig harddrive with a 128 mb FX5200 ultra (Nvidia made not for production use vid card)

I am able to accept that GTAT might be good if it is released. I even tried to betatest 5.0 but the server was down. I am as curious as anyone and I am truely objective. To be objective doesn't mean I think GTAT and MTA are equal. In my opinion an objective person would have to look at track record and conclude that MTA has much more credibility since they do not promise without delivering. Draco may be able to do what he says but he hasn't. Why am I wrong for pointing this out? I find it odd that so many ppl who have never played this game are posting how great it is! That's friggin odd. Plus, every tard that gets mad at MTA immediatly says how great GTAT will be. We can start a thread listing those ppl alone. Trunkstom, posty, Draco all say they have seen it and it's real I am not saying they are lying but until it is running I am not willing to say that it is so much better than the game I have played everyday for the last 5 months

MTA is not breaking the Rockstar eula and if you crack the MTA client and use a modded version of ViceCity in MTA you are breaking the MTA eula. So calling MTA hypocrites because they don't want cheaters (which is what the argument boils down to) doesn't work.

Be careful you don't want someone just kicking based on accusations. I can't play for long without being called a cheater. I normally check it personally or kick if it is a trusted source. But if you use the trustee script instead of giving out the password then you will be able to de-op ppl who abuse it and if the admin is playing the game he can boot ppl without even leaving the game. Also make sure your MOTD says no pausing, speak english, and obviously no cheating. speak english because ppl use other languages to spread cheats sometimes. if the admin can't read that then he can't stop it.

lol that's not a strong case Afro you should set up your server and put trusted ppl in the admin via IRC. You can set up an echo and op the ppl you want to have admin. This makes sure that everyone knows who banned them. For me it would say Admin KFC KungFu kicked let's say umm Ransom it's very transparent and lets you have a heavily admined server free from cheaters.

This is very true but generally high pingers are the worst laggers. Anything that limits your game will effect lag. IF you have a crap onboard videocard and you don't get a good framerate you can miss packets and you can also just have latency issues I think too. I normally go by experience before I leave someone alone in the game because of lag. But, this poll is informative I agree that anything under 300 is clearly competitive and above that some ppl are killable and others are the T 1000
