  1. Wow! That gives me some hope that all weapons will be available to mods too, so we don't have to rely on the MTA team's judgment of what weapons are "too dangerous". Maybe they'll even leave weapon.dat alone. It will be refreshing to have guns that actually kill players instead of the sanitized cartoon damage of 0.5. That's the most encouraging thing I have heard from MTA since 0.3 came out. And... It will be interesting to see what servers get the most business... The ones with the nerf weapons or the ones with no holds barred I think I know the answer --------- With ChrML onboard with MTA now I think Blue will be out by this weekend *fingers crossed*
  2. having voice bulit into the game would be useful if it only worked when you were close to those ppl Otherwise, TS or Ventrillo or Roger Wilco would be better
  3. Yeah I'll leave modding of MTA to MTA... I just wanted to agree with MP5 about how nice it would be to have a better current version to keep more people playing until the next generation of MTA is released.
  4. If MTA knows it will be a long time before another version is released I wish they would just release a new MTA without the armor glitch so ppl can use the crusader again. This should have been patched right after the release but because of the other problems with the version it seems like the scope of the patch expanded into a much larger fix that constituted a new version instead of a fix.
  5. none of my business but a guy named Dealer made the VCS gang long before you even heard of MTA http://www.forum.mtavc.com/viewtopic.php?p=30044#30044 I don't think anyone sucessfully "retired" a gang tag yet VCPD, DA, NS... all duplicated so far

  7. I am glad he released this. Me and Nutz drove around a bit and we flew cars after getting in the dodo... I don't know how Dracos finished product will stack up against the other finished products but until we have another option this is the only way to play SA online and it serves it's purpose. I think it's more stable than his VC efforts and I like how it acts like a trainer and doesn't mess up my SA install... With a game as big as SA I don't want to have to have 6 installs of it like I do now for VC. Good job DB
  8. My country is the last SuperPower so my opinion doesn't matter but... The rules are set up to allow a group to grab some highground aka top of the sailor spawn boat and toss throwables down on whoever they want. You can't easily get up there to get them and its not really in the spirit of fair play. I prefer open flat ground level areas with only some people up high to snipe. When you have a whole gang grouped on a high level with one way up and no helikilling it's not very sporting. again just my 2 cents... either disallow throwables or enable helikills I would say. but the gangs that join this league know the rules going in so if they join they can't complain. Plus, they could also choose a similar base and do the same thing. Jani... it's an inside joke... you bloke

  10. This is a huge bump but i have a question about this This is for setting custom areas that have NOT been set... What would I need to do to change an area that is most likely defined as more than one area in the current mta.data.ini? This is for a stand alone script not running with the GRS so should I take an old mtadata and define my own few areas? I would prefer to use the well defined script but I want to push out some of the borders.
  11. Yeah peds are spawned and destroyed as they get on and off of the bus so it's a no passenger vehicle. The bitchpack glitch maybe the one thing I'll miss if it's gone

  15. It seemed to work better without GRS so I have it standing alone... When GRS was on the person would go to the spot and noone would be named King of the House.. is it possible to add a password login/logout for 1 person who would be incharge of the script.. I could get into the script to change the password if needed.. or should I try to get it running with GRS properly. we used to use a simple admin like that in version 3... and you could logout whoever was the ingame admin if you knew the pass. My last question: Is it possible to push out the border on certain "houses" I am willing to mess with it myself or bug someone else... I am sure your patience has a limit. 3 places I want to expand... CherryPopper to include up to the street outfront and to the back entrance and health pickup Vercetti-Estate to include out to the street and the entire grounds of the Mansion Film Studio to include the entire Prawn Island. It has really pumped some life back into this game for me... I appreciate all of your help.
  16. VC has several warps built into the map already, glitching can cause others so not really feasable. Not to meantion that you appear to warp around the screen when you are selecting your character
  17. Sorry for steering this completely off topic Thank you very much for the changes and for extracting it from the RPG script. It works perfect except it occasionally still gives ownership to new arrivals even thou the current owner hasnt left or been killed. is this something that is from the lag in admin+ or is there a way to put some sort of redundant check in to make sure the space is open before awarding ownership sorry, hate to be a pest. big problem is .. anyone in the server can control the script.. .turn it off or change the house... thanks

  21. I have almost 2100 posts and I don't think Im full up on cans I think the people like me stopped caring about it long ago and it's soo far out of reach for newer people so the ending postcounts idea was good.
