Can you add something to the stats script that shows the best player in the server by kill death ratio? !pwner or some funny command... lol ------------------------- edit... another wish Can your script report back what someone's computer is running? Ram, processor and vid card? Sometimes Im dying to know why ppl are so laggy

Can MTA trigger the playing of certain phases that are in VC, synced on everyone's PC in the area of a player who presses the button Mainly I would be interested in some of the things that Tommy randomly says sometimes when he fights... I'm glad that this idea is way too difficult and unlikely and that it will never be implemented Let alone all the ppl wrongfully banned the real reason this idea is bad is because ppl will feel they have paid to play MTA and become even bigger aholes than they are now. No need to argue about it because it will never happen but this idea implemented would mean the end of MTA

If a name or tag can be recycled sucessfully it says something about the gang that held it.. I don't think we have a Hall of Fame where we retire gang tags (Not a bad idea thou) Both NS, DNA and DA are no longer gangs.... I should know A good example is how a gang tried to use the name VCK not to long ago... Even thou VCK was barely active it didn't fly because the gang didn't last and enough ppl supported/remembered/belonged to VCK to reject the name co opt Let the market decide... Most times it's an unintentional coincedence and not trademark infringement.

The second question he has was about custom skins... that isn't allowed yet Bottomline You can have a clean install of GTAVC with MTA but no other mods Typically you want a separate install for MTA and for other VC mods I have a 5 Vice City installs on my computer 1 for MTA versions 0.2.2, 0.3, 0.4.1, 0.5 and another with some single player mods on it... It's well worth getting and improving all the time... enjoy

Yeah I forgot how much has changed since the last IRC echo admin was around It would be ideal if the echo admin had all the powers the ingame admin have weather, slap, tempban, !setping etc... Hope that's just enough challenge and not too much

I don't know how much demand there is for this but I would love... say kick and ban from the IRC echo The way it used to work is +v can talk to the game server (but it shows thier name from IRC) +h Can kick ppl in the server +o Can ban ppl in the server It kinda went away after ingame admin became possible but it would still be very useful...

My only concearn is that they fix a big problem that never existed until this version. Bad desync... I am seeing it all the time... People are right next to each other and can't see each other. Please make sure you know what was different in this version that makes it happen so much when it wasn't as common in the previous versions. You only know it's happening if you ask somone if they see you... or if you see a car with no driver. Spaz is good

If you remember 0.2.2 you'll remember that the ppl who used spaz stand still and shoot in one direction. They die easy. Used to be if you started shooting the spaz it was like ringing the dinner bell. Everyone would come out of the woodwork to take him out. It seems the devs have listened to the public. Everyone said more lead more bettererer and I can't wait.

Welcome back WOW what a vacation... Ironic that only a few days ago I stopped going to #vca and tried to bring FireFox back over to #vca. Then more ironically later that day I actually saw Loendal after forever. Then a few days later you are coming back. Well just so happens I reloaded my script and kept #vca warm... and ya still got FireFox, I was just at the point of assuming VCA dead and stealing FireFox back good save time. umm what do you think the work ironic means? People act like they pay for it now I can't imagine the complaints if they actually did pay for it. Plus, ppl are being banned right now for things that are not cheating by people who do not understand the quirks of the latest version. I can't imagine the mess that this new list managment would be.

Car with no driver means the player typed "/kill" while in the car or some other type of issue Oh ok so it's either that or some other issue? Thanks for narrowing that down. It's not a /kill thing it happens all the time to ppl who didn't do the /kill. The typical /kill from car situation is where the car is stationary for everyone else but the dead guy can drive around like a ghost. I would say at least 3 times a day ppl can't see each other or a car has no driver or is flying, helis are driving like cars etc... Another one is the issue where someone who is uncrashed fighting somewhere in the city appears to be sitting idle in a car. I saw his health drain in the passenger seat then the chat said he was killed by MP5 somewhere else in the city. These are major issues that have never cropped up in the older versions and I wanted to make sure the problem is identified before the update.

lol... thanks Oli I expected some of that Nothing in that list is a cheat and ppl use those things everyday. If you are new and frustrated that list is a welcome thing. If you don't like it and you want to have some sort of superior inside information then please ignore this thread and this script. Yeah I know but I think it's better that new ppl know what is possible so they are prepared and they dont' think everyone is cheating. I don't use all of these but I know them all, so should everyone else. but obviously you can trim or add anything you want

I have been using this !tip script in PartyServer and it's helped some new ppl get over the learning curve and helps ppl understand that most ppl don't cheat This script looks for a tip.txt file.
