What if the spawnwar character spawned at the dirtring and had no cars or bikes around... If you had to walk it would be a pain in the ass to spawn with it and not have a spawnwar Plus a lot of the ppl who play this game try to have teams and gangwars. It takes an hour to gather the correct weapons to start. With this character you have 1 on 1s with every good weapon and easy setup for gangwars. Let me repeat... NOONE uses the characters the way they were intended to be used... No cops are looking for robbers or sailors vrs mexicans the whole theme used for these characters has been rejected by the community mainly because there is no end of the game and the skin glitch issue. We just want the weapons and the spawns. What you call them is meaningless. Some ppl want to hunt.. somewant to roleplay some want spawnwars and 1 on 1s and other like running...

No we wouldn't want to hand out the pass... Last man standing would be the easiest I agree.. As far as how many each? As many as 8 per team or as many as we can get I would love to keep it even but if it's off by one it might not be a big deal. btw anyone can join this server and fight wars or do this multigang thing anytime -
I like spawnwars I do like the variety of this spawn plan and I think it's fine if it's doable the issue that has gotten all of the complaints isn't spawn locations but weapons... If you do all this but have the weapons the same it will not accomplish the objective.

OK I want to have a 4 way gangwar for MTA GTA3 ShoreSide Vale each gang would spawn with a different character and then go would be called... It would be judged by the turfwar script This can happen anytime just let me know when you are available IP: 66.117.38.205 Port 2007 pass: (same as the VC gangwar server) Unfortunately the Turfwar script can't be added to the PSL thing because it has to be run from admin... you can't control it by making commands so somoen with admin will need to be around for these rules If you want to have it as a last man standing that would be fine too Anyone interested?

hard to get a consensus I guess You won't get no glitching with stubby and mollie/nade with this core Ask yourself what you like better Glitching and stubby and nades/mollies or No glitching it's gonna have to be a comprimise... you can do most of the same stuff with cop shotty but it's less powerful and glitchy

I agree Mike the M60 did balance the stubby back then... or the chainsaw/M60/mollie combo at least I have just one simple request then if the other thing doesn't fly Can you give the sailor the cop shotty? It's right at the Cherry Popper anyway just save us the walk... thanks

Im sorry to post but I have a problem MTA tried to remove all the glitches but it seems it's not possible to remove the crouch glitches... Obviously this would be the best option but it may not be possible in this core

I just made a wanna be witty quip Nutz... I get the idea of this thread and I agree with most of what you are saying... more lead... more damage... kill them all and let god sort them out. I think it will be hard to get a consensus from ppl on bring the spaz back thou I am against having no shotgun spawnwar locations (ie random spawn for robber).. The rest of my things are in that post if anyone agrees good ... I am gonna play whatever MTA puts out even if it's just bats and water pistols so whatever they come up with will be fine but I did have a few items on my wishlist Zircon... having noone with the all powerful weapon and a few spawns with copshotty and 2 with M60 would be a bit of balance I think... they could still go further and adjust some damage levels too Also noone uses the characters as originally intended (with rivals and ememies etc...) The one character with a good set of weapons would be invaluable for saving time in gangwars and great for 1 on 1s

I actually posted a suggestion in the suggestion section... silly me Whoever made the bullshit KFC comment... Please understand that Nutz is interested in a better MTA like us all keep your personal issues to yourself thanks My idea in the link above is aimed at making a quick and easy fix to this version that doesn't involve a huge change I love stubby shotgun... it's very fun... but it's the source of 90% of the disagreements I propose getting rid of the weapons that are easiest to exploit (nades, mollies and stubby) I would give the "robber" character the cop shotty.. as well as Crusader... I would want a great spawnwar spawn for the robber (preferably Dirtring) I would also want this character to have the best set of weapons (M60, M4, chainsaw, Mp5, colt and shotgun) He could be used to satisfy spawnwar lovers and as easy setup for wars... The cop shotty would be just as fun as the stubby and the stubby can make it's comeback in blue (they could also let the stubby be a hard to get pickup with jumping enabled if they wanted) I know this won't be a super popular idea with most ppl but it's easy to do and it would end the glitch arguments for a while

I think they should up the M60 back to the 2.2 level and damage. I really want that spawnwar character that would be away from the main VC action and have the best weapons (best in the dirtring) If every other character spawned randomly or in serveral locations it would be good too.. He should have focused on his points instead of taking shots at ppl... It's doing a disservice to his rambling Unibomber like manifesto... Please try to ignore the political points he raised and focus on the substance... ie the more powerful weapons is more better arguement... -
This would still be fun and the glitches will be the lowest level possible. Gangwars would be easy to setup too... seems like a comprimise Everyone can jump from every spawn unless they are holding the stubby... crouching seems impossible to disable and the MTA team has done a great job to limit the amount of possible glitching with nades and stubbys... This idea seems like the only way until Blue

I don't know for sure but I think it could be done without the MTA team... Nutz has somehting that turns the server off and on on a schedule if it was added to switch the game mode and the join message had a timer on it it would be done

rate of fire is different from damage because of the shot cancelling... no matter how low the damage of a minigun they will be able to cancel any other gun because they don't reload... spaz same thing to a lesser extent If it is a fact that crouching cannot be removed with this core and that we have to remove glitches then the logical conclusion would be to remove the weapons that allow for the greatest glitch abuse... sorry to say those weapons are (minigun, spaz, stubby, mollie and nades) While they remain in the game new players will lack specialized glitching knowledge that will put them at a disadvantage greater than in a normal game where they would just lack regular experience. -
Yeah it would be a bit of an owner character but he is far away... give him no cars or bikes to discourage travel Plus think about gangwars and 1 on 1s No need to gather weapons ever again

What's more disappointing then not playing? with autorejoin it only interupts play for 30 secs tops.. noone will have to restart thier game.

I agree with most of that book I don't think damage is the issue with Minigun or spaz...it's rate of fire... but if they did that it makes ppl stand still and easy target so it would be fun... Minigun is insanely powerful... and it's fun for a little while but it would get old quick (or so I hear ) the theme was more power and weapons over less and raise the weak weapons instead of weakening the strong ones if you didn't read the stuff above I just saved you an hour -
I am convinced that this cannot be resolved so I have a suggestion http://forum.mtavc.com/viewtopic.php?t=11212 It would be an easy fix and I think it would be a lot of fun I read Gary's thesis in this thread and I agree with most of what he said but I don't think it's too likely to be acted on... This seems like more of a comprimise If you don't feel like reading the other thread the idea is simple Get rid of the robber spawn and replace it with a spawnwar character in the Dirtring with the best set of weapons minus the stubby. Cop Shotgun is a fine replacement for stubby and should be less glitchy... Stubby can make a comeback in Blue Adding maybe one stubby pickup somewhere obscure wouldn't be horrible but noone would spawn with it at least.

I like the random spawns for Cops. I think that Cop shotty is equal to the stubby now. ppl don't realize it because there is no way to spawnwar with Cop Shotty. My idea of giving one character the best long range, medium range, short range and Melee weapons and putting them in a great spawnwar location like Dirtring has three reasons... Great spawnwar spot that's tucked away from regular VC DM action (Plus bloodring is available for 1 vs 1s) and for 1 on 1s it would now be possible for an M60 vrs Shotgun etc... Until now 1 on 1 has meant Stubby most times. Gangwars would be easy to setup since you could spawn as this character... setup and go Adding long range weapons to a shotgun war will make it much more difficult This idea is meant to be a comprimise between the creator's intent and the real world use of the characters.... Noone pays attention to the rivals and enemies etc... It is only about what weapons ppl want and (M60, M4, Shotgun, MP5, Colt and Katana or Chainsaw) is a great set of weapons

Nutz (who runs the PartyServer) added a script that resets the server every hour to limit the memory leak. Perhaps they could use something similar until the server is fixed

Im not sure what you are saying there... but if it's that you would need more than stubby I disagree Stubby is only a source of argument. The reason ppl don't use Cop Shotty more is because noone can really spawnwar with it so most ppl haven't really practiced using it.
