I still haven't come to a full conclusion about the taxi thing yet. I think it is kind of "cheap" and "unsportsman like." Thats why i feel it should be disqualified (most likely). I am going to discuss it more with Samurai_ohk and the two other members of TGA and see if they feel the same way. As far as MTA stunts go, they are included for two main reasons, you can use your imagination a little more and get someone to help you get that rotation/hieght/distance that you want and also I think its awesome when there is a server full of people and they are all trying to break the world records. I think taking MTA out of the comp would be cheating MTA players of a great opertunity. Also by having the MTA ramps included it makes it more intresting then limiting it to just SP jumps. I want to see people get creative and break records. Talking about breaking records, when the hell is someone gonna break a record??? I could have sworn i heard Samurai_Ohk claim he was gonna take back over the rotation record!? And what about the rest of you stunters, i know someone out there has balls enough to break these records. I am thinking about maybe offering a PRIZE for this comp, but i dunno. Possibly some webspace and subdomain from TGA with unlimited bandwidth? I wanna hear what you think of me throwing in a prize? would it get anyone motivated to break these records? Possibly even throw in a TGA shirt (POSSIBLY they are still in the works) I wanna see records BROKEN i don't like seeing records stand!

Andy doesn't host videos (atleast not more then just a couple) TGA hosts all the videos, AMPT provides descriptions and links for the videos. Andy's site is looking better and better everytime he updates it. I know how much time must be spent to put together a website and i respect what he is doing. He has spent alot more time putting this together then i think most of you realize. When you have a website that is automaticly thought of with the words "GRAND THEFT AUTO VIDEOS" then you can come back and talk. Until then watch and learn. Andy, I like the new version of the site ALOT better then the last. Excellent work. I like our TGA plug up in the top left, but could you fix the link for me lol

Well finally The Gamers Alliance uploader has been fixed. Took several days of harassing my host to fix it but finally tonight they did. It is basicly the way it was around christmas... Any file below 50 megs uploads fine. I am not sure about files bigger then that, we did a test run with one that was 48 megs and it worked fine. Then we tryed one with a file that was 68 megs and kept getting an error, but not a "file to large" error so i dunno, it could have just been something in the code. Anyway if you have any files that are too big for you to upload or you are having trouble with the uploader, catch me or Samurai_Ohk on MSN and we can do it for you. Rating: 7.25 / 10 thats cummulative from myself and Samurai_ohk I know that everyone on here is saying it is worth a "10/10" or "110/10" although Samurai_ohk and I both disagree. Reasons: ~ Story line was decent although unclear at times and grammer was incorrect ("Revenge he was going to take with vengence") ~ Your girlfriend should have been German instead of russian, since you (assumingly) named her after the German song... (assuming there isn't other factors we don't know about) ~ You introduce the characters in the beginning in certain skins although throughout the movie you are not wearing player specific skins on MANY occasions. ~ Many of the stunts are performed in the same location and gets very repetitive ~ When you were shooting the rocket launcher you should have taped from first person view not third, it seems corney seeing you look around and stuff blowing up without being able to tell your the one shooting. ~ in some portions you still have the "replay" text while in others you have changed it to AMPT, it should have been uniform ~ alot of filler stunts We like the combination of stunting and themed video. You deffinetly had some badass stunts although there were plenty of "filler stunts" aswell. As with everyone the more videos you put out the better you get at making them so keep up the good work.

Sadly, i just discovered that there is no hope for recovering all the files lost =-( what we have now is all we can recover, So upload your vida agian or upload any vids that you have that aren't in on our server. We gotta work towards having our big library again. Sorry everyone

Well, ALOT of files are missing from the /videos folder. I have contacted my host concerning the missing files. No comment is one of the files missing. Trust me i know how you feel Metus is also one of the files missing. I will start digging through my Cache this afternoon and see if i can find some of the vids that are no longer up and i will reupload them for you if i have it. If you know that your file is missing give me the name of the file so i can look for it. lol yeah, i am glad we are finally back up. The sad thing is that we have (hopefully) temporarly lost some files. We used to have 250 videos now we have about 100. I am hoping they have backed up more recently then Dec. 5. Things should be back to normal within a couple days. Is the uploader actually working? i haven't tryed it so i dunno. If its not sadly i can't do anything about it until they finish fixing the server...

Rebel 36, Thanks for the acknowledgment. Its good to see that atleast someone appreciates what we do. this is the word i have heard from our host: "the reason for the outage was the ELF VIRUS." "we are reinstalling linux on our server" "It was just the virus some how it got on the new install. So they have to redo it again." basicly the server got some virus, they had to reinstall linux, then upon installing the software the virus had already infected the new install, so they had to reinstall linux again. Thats all the info we got right now

lol I just am gettin pissed about the site being down myself, a little hot headed right now I am hoping that the site will be back up by tmrw but i can make no promises cause this hasn't happened in the past, prior to this it has only been down for a max of a couple hours

You think you guys are pissed because its down? How do you think i feel, I am the one that spends my hard earned cash to pay for domain and webhosting. Trust me i am far more pissed about the site being down then any of you could be. So keep in mind that you guys are paying NOTHING for the hosting that your getting from TGA. The site is down because of server issues, i do not know specifics because i have not been able to get ahold of my webhost. This is the first big downtime experience we have had from this host. I am sure they will have it up as soon as possible. Stop your whinning, be patient, and remember that your not paying anything, so don't be so pissy when it goes down for a day. ~ Bloody

I just discovered the algorithem for ranking is screwed up, whoever put it together obviously didn't know what they were doing (which always seems to be the case ) Anyway, I am working on a new algorithem, but i am having to create new database entrys and set new select and update sequences so it might take me until tonight to get it to work correctly. Plus i got class from 2 until 630 so give me a little while. I would hold off on rating your files until i get done because i am going to have to reset all the ratings.
