look at when MadBoy posted that message jacob, at the time he was correct. btw, the new mta does report player skins for scripting (doesnt it?) so it's easier than player coordinates (which also was not availabl,e at the time mad boy posted)

opium, you may be fuzzy on what nade spamming is. it's when you use a glitch to throw a bunch of grenades really fast without losing hp or ammo. yesterday i warned someone 3 times about not doing it at the robber spawn, and then i kicked that person. it is cheating as far as i am concerned.

he's talking about the trainer that makes it so you have 100% control of the camera. does that work with mta?

not suer about the joypad, but using the keyboard, move between selections with the arrow/wasd keys and select the person by pressing enter. you should hear a weird tone when you press enter.

about that, why not? irc integration opened up a lot of cool stuff ihadn't seen anywhere else. aeron made that cool gif map image that gave live up to date locations of people ingame, and it gave admins a way of watching their servers even out of game. is there a new of doing all the things that mtama did? -
judging from what you said, you talked like you were the nade spammer, so of course the admin was convinced it was you the way you butted in when he warned another person. my question to you is: why did you say nade spaming is fine, when it clearly is against the rules? by your own words, it sounds like you had it coming.

australian games have known issues with mta. i beleive the way to fix it is to replace some game files with american game files the .exe and the american.gtx i beleive are the files you need. (dont ask for them here, thats borderline warez talk) -
he is suggesting a spectater mode thats free floating, not a following camera. and i agree, a free floating camera would be nice, escpecially for making mta vids. a good way of doing it would be for when you cycle between players to follow, one of them is just free floating. i beleive the difficulty with a free floating camera would be the phsics of moving around. remember that jetpack vc single player mod? kinda cumbersom to move with.

there is a difference beteween a relaxed ffa and a competition. for competitions (my opinion) - nading/flaming/shooting through walls = GLITCH - bitchpacking, not a big deal at all (you all know my opinion on bitchpacking, i wrote a damn howto) - using methods described by db to get ammo GLITCH - armor cheat GLITCH (and on a side note, It's very dissapointing to see how many community members use this. I don't say anything, but i see it all the time. cmon guys, how can you expect any respect after doing that?) Casual play -the wall glitches are a pain in the ass, and very lame. i expect better from community members, but it's not something to get uptight about. -ammo glitches, again lame as hell, but hard to prove. -armor glitch, really fricking lame. don't let me catch ya doing this, cause i'll make sure to do my best to make quick work of yer armor, then your hp, then your pride. one item not discussed: holes in the map. now the robber spawn is a pain in the ass if you hop the fence for whatever reason. i see everyone running 4 blocks to getr back to the "play area". so i show people the corner of phils place, and some people started after me. whats are your opinions on the map hole glitches? (there are lots)in my opinion the one at the robberspawn is a neccesity, the others are just slight amusements, but if use with the wall shooting glitch, then its lame.

yes, with skills, anyone can make a script or mod. a script requires the person to be admin (or admin+) and a mod will require the server to have the mod enabled. -

all buildings?!?! that would take a buttload of work, but it would be pretty cool. i understand in mtama it decides area from xyx coordinates, but do we know if blue send the zone data to the server whenever a new area is entered? (whenever the name of the area is displayed in the bottom right) that would be a bit easier and accurate i imagine. (but knowing the mta guys, they probably thought of this already)
