Well this wont happen since the list will only be made from the peple banned from the officials , and all the admins of the officials have a lot of experience in the world pf ta/mta , and i dont think that it means as soon as you get banned from it you will make it to the list , this will of course go tru some "screening" ( hopefully by then you will get the reason you got banned and by whom in the log) Cause you could be banned for being lame ex: mass cursing,being rude to admins ( a temp ban woud do in this case) text flooding ( temp ban) etcetc you get the idea.Banned from officials will mean just that banned from the offial, now if the team thinks your a "threat" to the rest of the players then you might make it to the list, And also it has been said that it will be optional to run your server with or without the global ban , so yo would still have a chance in some servers. I have no real fact to base this one im just giving how i think it would b done, but im sure the team doesnt want innocent people to suffer.

For Bob_TDH : So you would be able to complete it faster? and i dont see whats wrong with waiting for 3 months, i have been told that good things come to those who wait , Well basicly you cant blame the team for the lag, its either your connection speed from where you run the server or people that connect form to far away or have bad connection or you have too many people on a connection you cant handle etcetc. If you want to complain about cheaters thats your problem , you as an server admin should be avaliable as much as possible, since its your server its YOUR job to make your server cheat-free, the team has done their part , they have built into the client cheat protection, its not their fault that some idiots go and build cheats for mta. Your saying people get boring of playing the same for so long, well again its YOUR job to make sure they dont get bored, either by using the mtama scripts so people have mutliple games ( scripted) to play or by orginazing things that woudl attract people, ( demolotion derby's, stunt night ,etcetc) So you would have rather they had held back on relaesing 0.3 and just have to wait 7 monts for the next release? anyways, 0.3 brought a bunch of animantions, improved cheat protection if im not mistaken, oh, and did you look at the client? they built some thign into it too, or did you over-look that? they also improved/change details fromt he game ( new cars, making the mex have less ammo for m60 etcetc) The "minor" changes that you are talkign about acctually improved the game and made some people happy ,Somehow i get the idea that you dont own gta3, then its obvious you would say only work on gta vc , but for the part of us that DO own gta3, we would like to get a new version for gta3 too, so dont think for yourself remember there are lotsof other people playing the game and all of them have different opinions, would you like it if someone said ,:NO i want you to work on gta3 only,<-- that woud suck woudnt it? That light thing isnt mta related and its not a glitch, its just hard to do, you can do it in SP too, first you have to put them sirene and 3light on then just press ther horn button once ( pressing it twicec will stop it completly) and it should make the sirene turn offf leaving the lights on, its a bit hard so it will take practice.

Ok, try this: You must have a clean install to play mta. Close all Internet explorer windows, better yet just make sure its only mta you have open, nothgin else ( msn,ie, etc) Go to c:/windows and delete the file named MTA.ini or MTA ( it will show up like this if you have the option to hide extension on)

Yes they are. Let me give a better explanation of what the core is, the core is the "base" of the mod you can compare it to the foundation of a building. Its what everythign is build from, so everythign depends on what the core can handle,you could say its the first thing that has to be made , however other things to put into the next version might be thougt and even build before the core,but if the core doesnt support it ,it woudnt be able to make it to the release.

What do you mean waste their time? its not as if the whole team went and did that, the news post on the frontpage might have taken 5 minutes max and blokker ( the webmaster of the site) could have easily done that picture in photoshop in less then 5 minutes, so i dont see where anyone hads wasted there time?And if blokker does a HUGE job somethign that will take 3 months to do, it wont slow down the development of the mod, oh btw did you forget there are about +10 people on the team? or did you just decide to ignore that?

That wont happen, MTA will not give promises , esspecially ones they arent sure themselfs.so saying what exactly will be in it is not going to happen.Just be patience , look at screenshots released,look at post made by them and you will get good enough info on what you might expect ( remember that even thought somethign is shown in a screenshot doesnt mean it will make it to the finnal release.)

Thats one of the things i meant with mistake, but even so i think he would be able to get unbanned , without lettign the cheater in.

Are you asking to get unbanned or are you trying to get a conformation or just complaining?if thats the reason you got banned? If that is what you are doing it isnt the way to write the message .And admins on the officials arent corrupt they ALWAYS ban for a reason wheter you cheated,Overexaturated lammeness ( dont think always , but some people do get a temp ban i think) ,constant racist talk,argue with someone you knew was a admin might get you banned too if you did it too muc, or if you just didnt get the meaning of the kicks or didnt stop doing what the admin asked you to,Or they might have just made a simple mistake.And even if the admins ban you , they DONT have to give you a reason, if they think there is reason enough to ban you they will, but because its the officials they mostly will let you know why you got kicked/banned. BTW wojjie have nothign to do to what happens on those servers wojjie networks is just the host of the servers nothing more , they dont admin the servers, so it isnt good to complain at someone who isnt to be blaimed. Next time dont write a message like this , it only makes you look worse.

WillGTA3's way of playing online be the same as it is ?or will it be like vc's version meaning that a extra scm is created for online play only and the one for offline will remain untouched? BD no need to mention names. If im not mistaken the gun blips dont apear till your in some range of the stores , so if in the one screen they were too far away from it it woudnt show on the radar, and in the one you do see it , they might be closer.

If i can remember correctly going into the dirtring/bloodring/stunt arena ( dotn remember its name now) will make a lot of people crash ( this only happens in stunt ) so this might be the reason.

Well its obvious that for running a server linux is better, but as you said you dont know linux , i would go with win server 2003 .So win server 2003 gets my vote, i havent tried it yet , but you have no linux knowledgeso go with it.

Not really , well not as i see it, i play some other online game (fps) and in it it servers also change their gametype while players all still playing.What it does is make the player go to the loading screen again and load the level,weapons,characters,options,,objects that have to be used in the new type, so in this it would just ( if it was changing from dm to stunt)send the players to the loading screen , then load new vehicle postition ,new characters,health postions etcetc .so only thing that would have to be done is force the player to load new type.

Well the Disconect command your asking for is already in but on mta its /quit and it will close gta dn mta and bring you back to desktop, the rejoin/reconect command would be nice too since everytime you alt tab out of game you risk crashing when you come back in.

Kung in stunt everyone has armor, you get the normal skined tommy,swat,a couple of strippers,the chef,frenchman,cuban tommy, and a bunnch more i cant remember.

I just have to correct you on this since your wrong about the vehicles part, , robbers have 3 cars +1 chopper (+1 bike if you want to count the studio one)so that woud be 5 .Racers however have 3 bikes+ 4 hotring racers+4 bloodring bangers so that woud be 11Thats one of the main reasons the racers dont have more/better guns they have to best ANDFastest vehicles.That is suppose to balance things out, but i ( and lots of others) dont think it does help .Common give them atleast one more weapon (if racer is coming back next version) a shotgun maybe? (spaz?) or a givethem the crusader assualt rifle?( just some toughts)
