seems like this has turned into somewhat of a mess I would be interested to know who went around deleting these other threads, apart from the 6 mentioned before. As I previously said i personally am not too bothered by this as my thread as it was mainly nbkdan and lsldark spamming it out with an ocassional post from me... but some others must be pretty pissed. When was the last forum sql db backup made? maybe the threads which were considered to be rule abiding could be retrieved? although thinking about that it would be a lot of work and i doubt it would be worth it.

yankees, if you want to have a forum thats yours and for your important info then.... MAKE YOUR OWN FORUM. While you are here then you have to abide by the rules of the people who own the forum. If they do not like the amounts of spam then thats their call, and they can do with it what they like. Ill admit they handling was a bit... extreme, but maybe it was the only way to get through to some people.

Well its not quite that simple u see. In the eu league forums, each clan has its own FORUM, not just a topic in a forum, and u cant make someone moderator of a single topic, they can only moderate a forum minimum. That would mean that every time a new clan is created they would have to have a forum created by an admin of the forums, which as far as i know is only some of the devs, and they have far more important things to do than go running around creating forums for clans. Its easier for me in the league forums cos I only create forums for clans which are accepted into the league, which is not many compared to that amount of clans which just want to announce their presence here. As for the deleting spree... I agree it was a good idea, but some warning would have been appreciated from some clans. Personally it doesnt bother me cos there was only non fmj's spamming in there and the occasional FMJ update from me, but all out important info is stored on out forums which i administrate. EDIT: ive just spoken with some people who are actually quitting mta cos if this and its pathetic. If you are quitting the whole game just cos of this then not only have you got some issues, but u are obviously looking for a reason to stop playing. This is just a forum after all. I know hundreds of people who play this game who have never come to these forums. Seems some people think "spamming the mta forums" is what MTA is.

Full Metal Jacket is an long running mta clan, since august 2003. We have a base of solid members who are trusted and we feel we do not want to expand the clan too far as we will lose this edge. Due to this we have an invite only policy now. We will still reply to admissions via the normal methods which can be viewed at the FMJ website, http://www.mtafmj.com FMJ does have a 26 players e-frag server based in the UK, which is administered by myself, a few other fmj's and some other trusted people. The server is: 213.228.215.6:2000. We also have a 16 player e-frag server which is mainly used for matches. well i dunno... in the time i got whatever it was i got there were loads of ppl going in and out of the server, so most ppl saw it anyways, i guess that helps ppl believe it was real

good god... try your EXTERNAL ip, not your INTERNAL ip. Make sure the admin port is different to the client port aswell.

yeah i agree with that . I have like 6 different installs of vc now for various thigs (MTA, SP, GTAT, GTOWO, GTALC, UCF2 etc) so who cares making another copy if u wanna play sp.
