OK my opinion on this is: Its not always just the graphics card that determines whether the textures load quick. The CPU speed and amount and speed of RAM can also affect it. EG, when im running MTAMA with the FMJ script running on a 16 player server, the CPU is being used about 15-20% by mIRC. In this instance the textures take about 10secs to load in the robber hosue when I start MTA, and the overall fps are much lower. This isnt because of bad hardware in my case though as my comp has a very high spec. One thing you may want to try is taking it to 16bit and lowering the res to 800x600 or even 640x480. It wont look as good but it will improve performance. Also get the latest drivers for your graphics card, AND you AGP drivers. These will be found at the mamafacturers websites for each product, the AGP drivers being at the motherboards site. But as everyone else says, get a new card U can pick up a radeon 9500, which is more than good enough for vc, or a geforece FX 5200 for well under 100 bucks these days. Look around and see what you can find.

bump comes to the fmj server every so often, but when he does he is usually [VCA]MrBump and is ALWAYS in admin... plus its always easy to tell when its him cos of the ping anyways this fake is banned from my serve now

i dont see how this is hardware related. Maybe if the cpu is slow, but otherwise it isnt. As for mtama I find that it does take more cpu power... if 3.0 is less consuming then thats great

Ive had this prob for ages. just get used ot it i guess. I also find vc crashed like 5 times more often with mtama running ... mainly on spawning and on the screens between islands.

well i cant say im surprised to find it was kfg, but I am quite amazed at it. I wont proclaim to know him very well, but form impressions and reactions I have seen him give since he joined these forums (back in the time when i never really posted, just browsed through) I thought you were pretty down to earth and mature. Maybe it was out of rage or some other reaction to what bump did, but your response was way worse than anything bump did. Seems you were acting out of some sort of revenge or trying to make others feel as bad as u did, which is just so childish. Its the mentality of a 10 year old bully.
