Sounds more like a rogue mtama script to me. Try a different server.
-
And rockstar approve, yes.
-
The easiest way would be to code what you require into the main.scm, there's similar scripts out there already that could be adapted (provided the original authors gave permission for modification) if not then they would at least give you pointers.

Please read the forum rules. Locked, warez related. (cracks)

Just to clarify: MTA doesn't 'take away' the single player missions. The full single player experience is retained and available to play offline. It just doesn't use them for online play.
-
Actually your second ban (your first was removed in the New Year Amnesty) was for jet packing in a server that had two MTA Team members in (Not a good move) and repeated flouting of the rules in the forum and the IRC, primarily demanding release dates. Glad I could clear that up

Now look what you did. /me heads off to get the cleaning equipment.

Bandwidth usage has nothing whatsoever to do with the latter old core releases only supporting 26 players. It's when considering future (Blue based MTA) maximum player numbers that bandwidth requirements become one of a list of factors to consider.
-
Incorrect, due primarily to scm size limits and the methods we used in the past it is NOT possible to have 64 players. (In all previously released versions) As for the original question, yes it would be possible to have servers of that size with an MTA built upon Blue. Wether initial release versions or even later versions will ship with support for that number of players (or more) remains to be seen. Things such as bandwidth, game design, miminum specs needed to run highly populated servers (and clients) would all need to be thoroughly investigated first.

Moved out of General, Non-MTA section...

Heh, yes it does. There's a cheat to set all peds to attack the player if thats what you are after. I can't quote it as I don't have the cheat list here, easy enough to find though. Or as mentioned the use of a few appropriate scm opcodes would do the trick, again fairly easy to find online. Alternatively a work-around for you might be wanted levels and police replaced by peds. Plenty of options for experimentation without having to delve deeper into the game than you are able to.

It's highly unlikely that MTAVC 0.5.5 will see the light of day, as has been said the build was both flawed and incomplete last time it was going through serious testing. Since then first myself, and then trx, have found ourselves unable to to continue its development and fix the remaining problems due to no home internet in my case, and no time in trxs. There's also the obsolescence factor, with the first MTA built upon Blue rapidly approaching and blowing the old core out of the water in both ease of coding and possible features. There may in future be a further GTA3 release using the old core, as that's relatively trouble free in comparison to the GTAVC version, and considering a GTA3 version is unlikely to be built upon Blue format for some time, if ever. But again it means people being present who can devote thier time to it, and there being a demand for what is the oldest RW based GTA game out there. So meantime I suggest you play the old versions with those rose tinted spectacles firmly in place, and wait patiently and with excitement for the initial blue based MTA release.

We are aware that many people would like to assist and get directly involved in the development of MTA, (we hope the moddability of the blue core will satisfy this craving in a big way by providing the opportunity to implement your ideas directly, and share the product of your labours with other members of the community.) In the past we have put out 'adverts' when new members are required for specific projects and rest assured that we will continue to do so as and when required. Meanwhile, if you feel you have something exceptional to offer to the team, feel free to contact a team member with details. eAi or ChrML being the best to contact
-
There is not now, never has, and never will be a backdoor in MTA. Look first to your Admin policy, specifically how many people are provided with the details, rather than throw your rattle at the biggest target you see, MTA itself.
-
Single player GTA:VC alone is worth $20, when you figure the additional hours of intense fun that open up for you with both the current and past versions of MTA it's a no-brainer. Buy it

Single player (offline) race route scm's - Favourite route is around the mountainous north east.

In GTA they arent, as we played it quite a bit on LAN. As for GTA2 I can't comment as I uninstalled that steaming pile shortly after installing it

/me points to the forum rules regarding gang thread 'invasions' If it bothers you just 'contact the moderators' and i'll, I mean a mod, will deal with you

Sorry about the old mtasw.co.uk hosting, I can't justify the cost of maintaining it whilst otherwise offline unfortunately. Good to see the project is still alive and well. Although currently the new site states: Site will be up soon - MTASW Team

*Blows dust off the thread* Loendal and Firefox, perhaps you could forum PM me an email adress so we can keep in touch? I have net access for a while once more. Cheers.

Stop begging xerox, like I told you before. NEVER! ;P

Ah thanks, I meant to do that but moved on without. doh!

Hmm really? It seemed to want to open it in a java player and stream it, I couldnt locate anything right-clickable. I got it anyway thanks to the second link. Regarding the video, thats also my favourite car for doing that, tho you do some angles off the ramps I've not tried (but will now)
