most servers have bots anyway, so they arent on to start with. i think the problem isnt with giving them the options, its with the kiddies that abuse it.

they took a lot of inspiration for game-modes off mta forums im sure =) I was talking to trunk, and the public release isnt for some time, so there must be a few bugs. either way, it still looks good.

mta in future versions may have team skins, or in the next version, may use gang skins. as for custom ones, i dont know how gta runs that, it may have to d/l the skin, or it may revert to a default.

the netcode should allow 56kers to play, but no guarantees can be made. Im on a 56k, and i really do hope mta will support it.

this isnt worms* rod =) - old grannies do not have 5 second timers, and sheep do not fly in gta =) on another note - cheating in multiplayer sucks.... cheating will not be tolerated on the servers, and efforts will be made in future versions to remove cheats.

vip modes have been suggested multiple times - on this forum (maybe) but definintly on the old forums; there were like 3+ pages of ideas there from what i remember. back to pimpin... oops, i mean pimpwars =)

id say its more a problem with the connection we cant really offer many suggestions other than wait for 0.3b =)

i doubt that r* hate the modding community. its no big deal to them if we legally modify the game for mp, selling it for free, selling their game, and r* themselves. We are really doing them a service by promoting the game.

ok - SIMPLE way to know if anything is fake or not if it is not on http://www.multitheftauto.com or an announcment made by a mod/admin on the forums, its not true anything else is pure hear-say.

this has been discussed before - im inclined to lock it - but the first post is too long =) as for the built in cheats - we can fix them, they are not a problem as for scripts, the team is more interested in getting the game stable, then anti-cheating measures will be put in place. messing with handling and colission data will mean that the games wont sync, and if its raining tanks, they wont be synced, the weapons option is easy to fix as well, as earlier discussed in other topics.
